yeah Guthrie was one of those vets that was supposed to be great at doing his job lol

When does O'Dowd get fired for NOT doing his? So aggravating.

But as like some guy texted in to a Radio Show, Coors Field is the best bar in town. They'll always have business. Everyone claims Rockies have baseball fans, but I think 3/4 of the "fans" are just people that like to drink on a patio while some guys are throwing around a ball.

He wasn't pitching too bad until that bike accident.

Anyone else read Daters piece about Ubaldo Karma being the reason the Rox pitching staff has gone into the toilet.

That's why most of my friends go. To sit, drink and socialize.

1) Royce White is really talented, I'm worried about his anxiety though.
2) Why would you want Austin Rivers? He's a ****tier version of JR Smith atm. Beside, I don't see him falling out of a lottery (thankfully)

We have 0 perimeter shooters. Both of these players have "star" potential too...

And Rivers is no where near the sideshow that JR is (who I'd be fine if he came back)

Rivers has no patience on offense, and kills the ball movement then proceeds to play 1 on 5. He doesn't know how to play off the ball. He needs someone to mentor him, I believe he'll benefit a lot if Suns pick him and Nash re-signs there. Comparing him to JR was kind for him by me, Rivers is worse. I'll rather have J-Hamilton get those minutes.

Also, neither of those guys have star potential.

I don't think he'll even be a "star" either, just a solid bench guy that maybe scores 20 once in a while.

The Rockies couldn't buy a win (not that the Montfords would shell out for it anyways)

Also, I rather have John Jenkins if you want that spark off the bench.

Went to the Rockies game today. It's so much more evident in person...this team has quit already. A couple of guys played just lazy baseball. Unfortunately Cargo was one of them. And that is where I think you really have to question Jim Tracy. If the team has quit already, he's gotta go.

Despite the errors I do like Colvin, Rosario and Pacheco.

Big crowd though...very surprising for a hot as hell Thursday afternoon. It was hard to judge if people were into the game or just there to be there as the Rox gave us almost nothing to cheer about.

I don't think CarGo quit, that's how he plays which is saddening. He jogs to 1st when he hits a groundball, jogs in the OF when the other team hits the ball in the corner. I would love to see more effort from him, but whatever.

The only thing that really matters at Rockies games for me anymore is how close my seats are to the microbrew stand
