Cargo is a top 10 hitter in baseball and he is just hitting the prime of his career. If he stays healthy he should be able to hit .330 30HR 115RBI 325TB yearly.

Tulo is a good player, but I think he will always be injured and never able to give 135 games on a regular basis. He would also bring a higher return I think.

Tulo plays a premium position where hitting 15 HR and .270 is an accomplishment. The fact that Tulo puts up excellent numbers for even a corner outfielder just skyrockets his value to any team.

True, but I think for his health he will have to switch from shortstop at some point. Tulo's value is really about as high as it will get, and the Rockies need a lot of help to rebuild the pitching staff.

If only the Rockies could get Hechavarria from the Blue Jays in a trade with Guthre....

Actually, maybe I don't want that as a Giants fan.

Especially ours. The mere idea of trading Tulo is a joke.

Looks like Tulo is gonna miss 6 weeks. Having surgery to remove scar tissue from a nerve in his left groin.

Bad karma for opening his mouth about Ubaldo?

Really?? If anyone should have bad karma it should be Ubaldo for a little ***** and crying about his contract and throwing at Tulo in a spring game.

Calm down, just being a little sarcastic and tweaking Daters column from a few weeks back where he said the Rox pitching issues are bad karma for fumbling the trading of Ubaldo.

I'm not a big fan of Lebron's anymore....but man did he bring it this year. Impressive performance throughout the whole playoffs. I still think Michael and Magic are better though

Yeah, I would have to agree with you there.....probably Kobe too. We'll have to see how many championships Lebron wins.

And Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Shaq, Hakeem and Tim Duncan. But that ******* is insanely talented and can still pass many of them.

Sandusky guilty, probably gonna spend his life in prison. Can't imagine his fellow prisoners are really gonna welcome him there either.

Hope he doesn't get put into isolation and his fellow inmates can spare society from having to continue to support his existence. What a disgusting human being.

Yikes. I knew today was coming.

Rockies pitcher leaves with a 11-3 lead (75 pitches) and the reliever comes in and immediately gives up a 3 run bomb. Luckily they hung on, but limiting people to hard pitch counts is crazy. The starter went ballistic on the mound when Tracy came to get him with an 8 run lead.

In other Rockies disaster news, Baltimore cuts Moyer because they won't call him up. Who is the Baltimore Orioles pitching coach? He seems to have a clue (at least definitely more so than ours). It's embarrassing to say but the Orioles run their organization better than the Rockies. The Baltimore freaking Orioles.

Still, there is nothing redeeming about this team. Maybe next year they can get some pitching, but right now I'm just hoping they lose their way to last place.

It's gonna be hard beating the Padres for 5th place in the division and the cubs for worst record in NL.

I don't blame Outman, 75 pitch limit is so stupid. In fact, I think the whole pitch count is stupid. It's implemented so wrong imo. I understand what Tracy is trying to do, starters are **** while bullpen has been solid, but you know bullpen will start to collapse sooner than later.

As a huge Gerrard fan I am very disappointed but luckily I'm also a Germany fan so hopefully they can knock out Italy.

Chokers gonna choke.

But to be fair Italy isn't much better when it comes to penalties.

All that has to happen is that the offense has to get cold.

Even when offense goes cold, we're still better than Padres/Cubs.
