I dont get why either of these guys wouldnt be behind the bench of the baby sharks before they get behind of the bench of Sharks. The WSharks need new coaching as well, I would rather they both started down there.
I doubt he wants to coach, he wants to live in the Bay with Kristi. Doubt he wants the travel, which is why the Sharks gig is nice: just work at SJ home games or at the Comcast CA studios. I think he did one road game this year.
If he got into coaching, he wouldn't be in the Bay with Kristi for just about all of the year like he is now. IMHO, look for him to be standing on a chair or whatever in between the benches at HP for a long time.

Sure looks like he's in line to replace Drew. That will require a lot of travel. Not that I think he's gonna go into to coaching, but I won't be surprised to see him make the leap if Drew decides he's had enough.

If Drew is gone and Hedi wants it and the travel, sure. I was under the impression that everything from the point of him trying to get on with the Sharks (and then going to the Ducks for one year) was all about trying to stay in the Bay, and that this gig was perfect because he never had to leave the Bay Area.
If Drew leaves, regardless of Hedi's interest, Jamie Baker could get a sniff at the TV color spot.

The color job and AC are very different. The video work for the AC is far beyond what Drew does to prep and supplement his color gig. I could see Hedi accepting the travel for the color gig while not liking the workload of an AC in terms of time at home.
