Where is he projected to go?

EDIT: draftsite.com has him going in the 6th round.
I'm pretty good friends with his brother, not that thats important but he's been passed on the last 2 drafts and it could happen a 3rd time. He has been to a couple NHL camps so i think a lot of teams just think he's not worth using a pick on unless its, like you said, somewhere around the 6th. He'll get a contract sometime in the summer but I wouldn't hold me breath on him being drafted.

I think he'll be drafted. In the first year he was eligible he wasn't even London's starter, and last season London wasn't particularly strong, as I understand it. Backstopping a team to an OHL title and putting up like a .926 save percentage in the regular season ought to get him taken somewhere.

For the most part, I thought Harrington did a great job tonight. He and Tinordi pretty much shut down the SeaDogs' top line at 5 on 5. He made some nice plays with his stick to break up chances, was good positionally, and played a decently physical game.

This was a pretty good game for Harrington (he's always at least pretty good), but not the best game I've seen for anyone on either team. I think this has to do primarily because of horrible ice conditions and all of the teams being off for 7 to 10 days or so. I think all players & teams will be better as the tournament goes along, and hopefully they get the ice conditions worked out.

He had a beautiful hit on Huberdeau in the third.

From the few games I have seen, his panic threshold is extremely high, which explains why he doesn't make a ton of mistakes.

Only watched the first half, but liked what I saw. His mobility caught my attention.

Yeah, I got to watch pretty much all the preseason games Harrington played for us and the kid looks way more calm and mature than a typical teenage D-Man. He didn't seem very flashy, but was just really calm and solid all around. He really does remind me of Ryan McDonagh. Can only hope he turns out that good.

I have a man crush on Max Domi. Not the biggest guy but fights for his ice & has good vision.

The Rupert twins (hard to keep track of which one is which) are a pain to play against. Always hustling, play with a chippiness to their games, finish their checks.

Perfect example was when one of them forechecked like a beast, causing a turnover, stole the puck, then centered to Watson for what turned out to be the game winner.

Different leagues/level of play, but Harrington plays the way I think most Pens fans were hoping Paul Martin would play when Shero signed him two seasons ago. That is, near-flawless defense, great stick, great poise, shutdown D, with mobility and an ability to help out the offense.

I was thinking about Martin gone right too but even when Martins at his best he still has trouble with size. Teams just don't roll out of the corner with ease on Harrington.

Good call on Max Domi up there. I'm not sure if he will end up being the same type of player but he has that Parise motor about him.

Has anyone seen Aberg play?

Thoughts on if he will be worth grabbing at 22...

I have not ... but I would like him if he's at 22, which I doubt he will be there.

Aberg is sniping RH winger with killing speed. Personally I would take him before Collberg.

Here's a little scouting report, if you're interested :

Thought I would post this here if some of you don't frequent the prospect page

I used Future Considerations, ISS, THW Chris, THW Shawn, Craig Button, nhlmockdraft, hockey prospectus, Bob M, and RLR. I only utilized whatever was available for free from these sources. These sources are all within the last month.

I just did a simple average of the rankings and came up with this list. I required a player to be in someones top 30 to be included. Since Dansk wasn't ranked in hockey prospectus top 110 I gave him a ranking of 111 so he was more in line with the other goalies.

1. Nail Yakupov
2. Filip Forsberg
3. Ryan Murray
4. Matt Dumba
5. Alex Galchenyuk
6. Mikhail Grigorenko
7. Teuvo Teravainen
8. Morgan Rielly
9. Jacob Trouba
10. Griffin Reinhart
11. Cody Ceci
12. Radek Faksa
13. Sebastian Collberg
14. Zemgus Girgensons
15. Derrick Pouliot
16. Olli Maatta
17T. Hampus Lindholm
17T. Matt Finn
19. Nicolas Kerdiles
20. Pontus Aberg
21. Brendan Gaunce
22. Slater Koekkoek
23. Brady Skjei
24. Tomas Hertl
25. Tom Wilson
26. Ludvig Bystrom
27. Mark Jankowski
28. Scott Laughton
29. Andrei Vasilevski
30. Timothy Bozon
31. Henrik Samuelson
32. Daniil Zharkov
33. Phillip Di Giuseppe
34. Dalton Thrower
35. Michael Matheson
36. Colton Sissons
37. Ville Pokka
38. Martin Frk
39. Anton Slepyshev
40. Steffan Matteau
41. Malcolm Subban
42. Damon Severson
43. Oscar Dansk
44. Jordan Schmaltz
45. Gemel Smith
46.Nikolai Prokhorkin
47. Adam Pelach

Some notes: W/o Craig buttons ranking Grigorenko is easily the #2 and Murray the #3. If taking out hockey prospectus Colton Sissons jumps up to #22 and the goalies end up Oscar Dansk #24, Malcolm Subban #25, Andrei Vasilevski #27. These aren't taking any other players movements in the list into account. The player with the least data, Mark Jankowski with 3 rankings drops to 42 w/o Craig Buttons ranking.

I just don't get Tom Wilson's hype. For me, he's another Eric Tangradi. Middle or late 2nd round? Why not? 20-25? Geez...

If Frk can be grabbed with their second that would be a steal.

He is going to be a player and if he didn't have concussion issues he would of easily been talked about in the top ten.

Agreed. Frk has some serious upside, don't see him getting past 35 though.

Here's a Tangradi highlight video from this past season. Had a great year in the AHL
