This will end well.

No way this would happen.

Value is somewhat there...but from who's perspective is this helping? Why make this trade? Yes, Capitals would get their 2nd line center, but also an unnecessary (but great) defensive asset whilst giving up arguably their best defenseman in Carlson. Also, we already need to fill a hole in the 1/2RW from Semin's departure. If Ovechkin leaves, we then need to fill 1LW and then 1/2RW with stars, which won't happen. I remember hearing that Boston needs a scoring winger, but Ovechkin's untouchable from the Caps' perspective, and Carlson is as unnecessary to your defense as Hamilton is to ours.

Ovechkin is still one of the best players in the world. Washington loves Carlson a lot. There's no feasible package that can land both players at the same time.

Not sure what Ovy's issue was this year BUT he is still one of the best players in the world. No way Caps do this.

Bergeron>>>Ovechkin AINEC. Look at that two-way play.
Hamilton>>>Carlsson AINEC. Look at all those points and awards Dougie's getting in junior.
And the Bruins give up two first round picks?

Is what Bruins fans will come in and argue.

Neither team is trading those players, who knows if the value is there or not, it isn't happening.

Was about to say, "Are you serious," but then I saw some more text besides the one seen.

As a Bruins fan, I had one of those "this guy doesn't speak for us" thoughts before seeing the white typing at the bottom.

He certainly was. Not sure that player from 3 years ago is walking through the door again

Ultimately it is a trade neither team makes. Boston gives up the heart and soul of the team and the best defensively prospect we have had in 25 tests plus.mo

This has about a....-50%? chance of happening.

We obviously don't have any interest in Ovi, (although Carlsson would be a different story,) and I'm sure the Caps don't have any interest in trading him. If you increased Hamilton's potential in NHL 12, this trade might go through for only Ovechkin...
