The uniforms sure were WW2-like. But the point of the commercial was comparing the battle for the roster spots to these World Championships as tough as the military training.

God, I love Slovakia. Ever since Miro Satan and Zdeno Ciger played in the Oilers during 95-96 I've been a huge Slovakia fan in international competitions. They always play their hearts out.

Since it was a commercial directed at Slovak fans, it was meant this way first and foremost. But there´s also the fact that Vujtek was the coach of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl druing the 2010/11 season (and 01-03 before that), so it might have an another undertone too when you look at it from that way.
