4 Years on the Season Ticket waiting list... How long?

Hey Sabres Fans, I have been on the list for 4 years now for two seats. Any word on how long it will take? or if you have been waiting longer? Any info would help. Thanks

A buddy of mine keeps track of what "number" he is on the list. Every year it goes down by about 80.

He's currently #900 or so. He's been on the list for a couple years now.

they had a what 98 or 99% renewal rate each of the last 2 seasons? Im not sure how many season tickets are sold but lets say 15000. If 99% renew their tickets then 150 tickets become available. If you're over #500 you'll still be waiting a few years

I don't even remember seeing my 'You at at position #' email this year now that you mention it.

I was wondering about this yesterday. I'm waiting on my minipack renewal form too. I thought those came by now.

Been on it since the start of the 07-08 season and somewhere in the low-mid 500's now.

I am at like 2000

I went down 63 spots last year, 2102 to 2039. I remember hearing more then once they said they added like 100 season tickets, add in the 99% renewal rate, I should have moved down 100-150 so their numbers don't actually add up. If they really did add 100 season tickets, then say another 50 from non renewals, somewhere almost 100 seats went to people not on the list.

I looked up previous years and they ranged from about 95 to 97% renewal rate after the 07-08 season.

Feels like it will be 10+ years for people over the 1k mark.

We were at something like 88 as of the start of last season and haven't heard anything back yet either.

How quickly you move up also depends on what section you are looking for. When I was looking to move up, the customer service desk told me that the 100 level 4 moves the most slowly, followed by the 300's, and that 100 level 1's move the most quickly.

Last year I moved from the 300's to 100 level 2 last within 2 months of asking. They told me that it would be a couple of years, but I called back and chatted them up about it a couple of times and the next thing you know a number of seats were available for me to chose from.

I'm not saying that it would work for everyone, but it couldn't hurt to politely check up on things once in a while and ask what it would take to improve your odds.
