he said $104 on stub hub, which i find hard to believe.

most of the ranger fans around us were quiet. but thats what happens when the team gives them nothing. i almost fell on that guy next to you celebrating a goal.

Why wouldn't you want to golf?

Coincidentally, I have off today and am supposed to go golfing this afternoon. I'm really hoping it doesn't get rained out.

I'm thinking of going to the driving range on my lunch break. I get an hour off and it's less than a mile from my office. Really oughta take advantage of that more often.

lol well, one of us is going to be disappointed then, I guess.

the course is going to be nasty, it isn’t the best maintained course to begin with, and that’s not taking into account all the rain we’ve had. plus, its golf with people at work, in our little competitive league, and I haven’t touched my clubs since the last match we had last year. I would much, much, much rather go home, blaze, and eat handi-snacks tonight.

you should touch your putter a couple of times a week - the short game is where it's at.

oh, please- any time I want to touch my putter I go down to the putt-putt mini golf course, just for the thrill of it. I used my putter so much on the clown’s mouth, it’s pretty much crooked.

I probably need to start doing that. Up until a few weeks ago, my putting was my best and most consistent part of my game. I was terrible at putting approach shots anywhere near the pin, but I could 2 putt from seemingly anywhere for a while. Now I've done a 180. I'm doing a damn good job hitting into the green (8, 9 iron, or any of my wedges), but I just can't putt anymore. No touch on the green anymore. Almost like I'm just swinging and hoping it drops in or near the hole. I'm probably 3 putting as much as I'm not these days.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good piece of antivirus software to scrub a hard disk?

I don't like McAfee/Norton but want to give my drive a scrub.

Thx.

For keeping new stuff off, Grisoft AVG Free edition.

For getting rid of **** that's already on your PC? Combofix. Cool little piece of software.

There's nothing wrong with either of those programs either, really... Just I don't personally like the way that Spybot interacts with the end user. I also happen to think that if you do have some sort of malware that Combofix does a better overall job of cleaning it up. Combofix isn't a maintenance program that you run every once in a while, it's specifically for known infected drives.

I also highly recommend people use Piniform CCleaner regularly.

when my computer start doing funky ****, I pop off the back panels and squirt purell directly onto the wiring. then, I use a proprietary blend of cleaning agents (passed down from Grandfather MartyOwns) to scrub the motherboard…heres a portion of the recipe- 2 parts WD-40, 2 parts mountain dew, rainbow ice cream sprinkles, X, and the ground up crust from a strawberry pop tart. you know youre doing it right when the computer shuts off. if you see smoke, it indicates you accidently used a Brown Sugar Cinnamon poptart crust instead.

CCleaner is awesome. I run that monthly and am amazed how much crud it cleans up.
