Kings in 6 is probably the "safest" pick on there. I definitely think thats how it will end, too.

So far it seems to be the popular choice.

Awards:
Kings continue their dominance to finish the post-season. They'll take it in 5.

I figure it will be a five or six game Series with LA winning the cup . I'm leaning towards six because i'm sure Martin Brodeur will steal one with the second being a nail biter win for NJ .

Devils in 5 or 6. I voted 6 but wouldn't be surprised for either.

I say Kings in 6 although I wonder if they will lose any of their momentum from being off so long.

The Devils are clearly underdogs... but they could be true threat to LA.

Its hard to predict how they match up as they play each other so rarely.

Kings in 6

Mostly because I don't want to see the Devils win again, but also because I thought it was the safest choice. The kings have the better offense and a younger (yet great) goaltender.

It seems like both teams have a very good team spirit/chemistry so this should be a good show

Devils in 7. Just for the drama factor. Probably not likely but man that would be exciting!

I feel NJD manage to play upset a lot. I know LA did as well and in more dramatic fashion but a part of me sees NJD as a team that will pose a serious threat to LA and for once we'll see how LA responds when potentially down in a series. Then again, LA may continue their dominance, who knows. I personally think Kovalchuk is a more dynamic talent than the Sedins or anyone LA has encountered thus far. I'm a Kovalchuk fan. He's big, strong, doesn't mind the dirty areas and is supremely talented. We talk about LA's big forwards a lot, but Kovalchuk is far more dynamic. We talk about Dwight Kind being a
big force' at 6'3 234. Kovalchuk is 6'3 230 and far more dynamic is shiftiness, skating and skill. I feel LA will have their hands full with kovalchuk. Not to mention, Elias, Parise and so on aren't too shabby either. Brodeur may have that extra gear in the end. Don't underestimate experience. We'll see really, but I hardly consider it a slam dunk is all I'm saying. NJD has strong weapons too. I mentioned kovalchuk but parise is an elite two-way player as well.

Anyone else think the Kings are going to choke after this great run they've been on? Not sure why I see them failing

Devils in 7

Kings in 6, eventhough I'll be rooting for NJ. I'd love Kovalchuk to be dominant and shut up all those anti Russians on HF.

I think the Devils might out-grind them. That fourth line is phenomenal.

I'll say Devils in 6 because of a few major bounces going their way.

I'm hoping NJ wins, but I don't see it happening. The Kings are a well-oiled machine and they haven't just won in the playoffs, they have steamrolled. Two losses after 3 rounds. Amazing.

While NJ is a worthy opponent, LA has the offense that the rangers didn't have and all their lines are firing. Gaborik was pathetic. That was the series right there. Also Marty got really lucky that his team is now an offensive one. Kudos to him for winning the series but man these playoffs have been full of blunders for him that could have cost them big time. IF he cuts that out, they have a chance.

I said LA in 6 cuz I see them outscoring the devils oddly enough due to Brodeur (in how many Cup runs would you say that about the Devils!?). He'll play well, but not well enough and tbh Mike Smith was more solid than him and they won 1 game. I hope NJ though.
