Great, my satellite was set to switch channel at 7 for something else that I had forget about, so I ****ed the recording of the game.

Morgan Ellis is simply outstanding.. The most NHL ready of our D prospects IMO. Sorry but the Habs have to draft a foward with their 3rd overall pick, we will be more than fine on D for years.. Subban Emelin Beaulieu Ellis Tinordi Diaz Bennett

If you ever saw Subban's hit on Brock Trotter in training camp, imagine that but with Tinordi instead.

Gorges - Subban
Beaulieu - Tinordi
Emelin - Ellis

That's just ridiculous

Half of those guys are in the NHL, the other half, at the Memorial Cup

Timmins is a god

Bournival's biggest strenght is his skating ability. Even at team canada's camp in december, he was a step above everyone else not named Beaulieu.

Solid hit by Tinordi. Weird part is you hear the producer tell Pednault that they're going to show the replay.. Or is that just me lol

Yes London hired a figure skating coach to work with him because his outside pivot is brutal and he gets beat easily to the outside. They needed to do something. They are working a lot on edge control with him I was at a family party tonight with my cousin who works for the Knights. He was telling me his skating is coming a long but the Hunters are still not comfortable with it.

The Watson elbow on Bournival was bushleague after Bournival scored. You don't score a goal and start to skate to celebrate with your team mates and expect to get smoked with an elbow to the head.

Haven't seen him use his shot as much as Souray.
His shot is really something to see when he has time to fire the puck to the net, the prob, the Knights obviously made their homework tonight sending guys closer to Ellis on the PK so he hasnt had time to fire his blast, I thought Ellis adjusted well starting to pass more cycling the puck well.. Souray's slap shot was unreal with the Habs and I doubt Ellis's shot will ever be as dominant, but teams adjusted to Souray over the years and became less effective cause his poor mobility and lack of passing skills really hurts his game.. While its obvious Ellis probably wont have souray's rocket from the point, he still have an excellent shot and can move the puck pretty decently too so I think Ellis will probably earn a spot on the second PP unit sooner than later.. So the comparaison was more about his shot than anything else cause Ellis works so much better defensively than Souray..

I really prefer Tinordi. He doens't have the 50 point a year upside that Beaulieu has, but he has 30 points a year upside, while being a monster defensively and leader/captain type, and his floor is not much less than that.

Same, but with 6 points ?

Yes and I've been hearing the producer for the first few games, kinda gets annoying. On top of the fact that Langevin prefers to talk than describe the game.

It was a weak comparison. If anything, Gormley has a better shot than Ellis.

Love Tinordi's hit. Lined him up for a good moment or two and then went in for the kill. Beautiful.

If the Habs decide to retain Emelin for a longer term, can you imagine what a Habs blue-line of Subban, Emelin and Tinordi would look like? I'd hate to be the guy to carry the puck into the offensive zone with any of those three waiting for me.
