Expecting PIG-line to finally wake up since we're done with the North Americans, a goal by Kiiskinen, some serious agitation by Komarov and Järvinen-Väänänen to frustrate Ovechkin.

Afraid of Malkin though.

IMO either USA or FIN could've been in this game and
they would both cause/have caused RUS a lot of trouble.

The style we played on Thu will take us to the final
(except for the first 10mins), no doubt about that.

The style we played on Sun or anything short of Thu
will take RUS to the final, no doubt about that.

I just think we got a boost of beating the team playing
the nicest hockey (USA) and we'll go through to the final.

It wont wake up as much as I'd like to believe in that. Mistake by our coach Jalonen for keeping it together for 14+ matches?

Jalonen did bench these guys in the third, so there's something
happening. Plus Granlund was benched already earlier and came
back sharper. Let's hope this is the case with the whole line
on Sat.

As long as they play their part 0-0 it's enough for me.
There are new heroes being born still in these games

This won't be your typical Finland-Russia game.

That lineup by Russia looks crazy good. Keeping my fingers crossed and expecting/hoping a tight match.

Finland has a realistic shot, but it will take loads of hard work; which honestly is something this team is good at! As last year Russia has a nice group of individuals.

If Leo and Co will try to provocate some russian, then game turn to RUS-SWE scenario (Leo with broken nose and Malkin & OV in bloodlust mode). Let game will be fair.

That will be a tough game I think. It would be nice if Granlund and Immonen would find back to their form of last year. Then may be Granlund will show us again a "pikku kika" as Antero Mertaranta called the airhook goal of Granlund last year.

Sorry Finns, I'm not sure if "pikku kika" is written correctly, these are the words I still have in mind from Mertarantas comments.

Go Finland, go!

Russia will win in a close one.
When they feel pressured they will go all in and score a heart crusher, in the same way Czech did against us And Finland did against the US.

No way Biryukov will be the back-up. Barulin will cover Varly as he did in the quarters and for the most of the tournament.
