Was promoted, and just moved to Sioux Falls, SD from Dubuque. Moved last wednesday and have had a sinus infection the whole time. Finally took my stubborn ass to the DR. and I have pink eye too. Effing A.
Additionally, my wife is knocked up, and pregnant women are crazy. Can someone please help me? "I'm Sorry" was working, but now she thinks I'm doing it condescendingly, so I'm worried I'm going to get yelled at.
That's the bad news... the good news is that my new boss is better than my old boss, and I still have the option of opening the Rochester roadhouse when it opens sometime next year. Also, Sioux Falls is a LOT better than Dubuque. Dubuque sucks.

My wife was awesome while pregnant. Seriously. Super mellow while pregnant. No post partum weirdness either.
Congratulations on the promotion! LOL even as I write this my almost six month old is smacking me on the leg with a Dubuque Fighting Saints mini stick (signed). Small world!
-I'm 27 and still have my wisdom teeth. Dentist continues to tell me they don't need to come out yet. I don't know...
-Good luck on your interviews WILDhockeyfan.
-'Grats on the promotion Tim (Timothy?)! The gal was fairly good while being pregnant. Though, I tried to do most everything she wanted and walked on egg shells for a while ( ). I just mostly tried to avoid doing the things around the house that annoyed her to no end and keep everything clean and what not. Worked out okay.
-A handy is a bit like a dull pencil. Pointless.
----- Jarick, where did you go to get a used bike? I'm sort of in the market as well but I don't ride enough to justify buying a newer model and pay what I did for my old bike ($600+ at the time)...

My ex was pretty mellow while pregnant, which might explain why my kid is pretty mellow. She even had to put up with my stupid post-concussion/whiplash craziness for a couple months near the end.
I actually really liked Re-Cycle in Uptown, they were incredibly nice and took the time to explain things, plus they had a ton of bikes to choose from under $250. But I ended up buying my bike from The Hub in Minneapolis, because I liked it slightly more than the bike at Re-Cycle, even though they were pretty ambivalent about helping out a new biker (probably because I wasn't spending much money). My guess is they probably cater a lot more to the experienced biker while Re-Cycle is all about getting newer folks into good used bikes.
Stupid biking...I already want a road bike. The mountain bike tires feel like they're killing me on hills. Or maybe the fact I'm 40# overweight
Saturday was funny. I hit a new "record" speed going down a hill at 21 mph and biked 4 miles. My hockey teammates biked over 20 miles. And my girlfriend's brother biked 100 miles and hit 42 mph. Good lord.
Did the Target interview, then the lady who interviewed me directed me to a 2nd interview, then the 2nd interviewer directed me to an HR representative. Told the HR rep right away that I am being interviewed for other jobs as well and she told me to call back in a week. Apparently they're looking for people to work sales floor throughout the store as that's the job they talked to me about.
Back to Chrome this week, and enjoying some extensions. Notably Silver Bird and Pocket (which lets me note links that are blocked at work). Taking up significantly less resources than app tabs were.
Were finally getting some crap done around here. For the past two months this whole apartment has been nothing but a collection of boxes. We finally did part of the living room today and put some crap in the garage we just got assigned.

I worked at Target for a few years. Not a terrible place to work. They will treat you pretty good, just don't get paid very well.
