considering he is guilty of the worst embellishment that I've ever seen on ice, I don't want him.

Judging by the two multi-page threads here and the constant journalism speculation, his attitude isn't being overlooked. And point totals or not, Kane is twice the player Ribiero is.

K, you're weird then. Bowman certainly would. Hell, I'd throw in Kruger.

Toews/Ribeiro/Bolland/Slater... that is something we could actually win a Cup with.

I think the deal I said, Saad + No. 18 overall, and that's right now as opposed to the TD, would be what it would take. Let's say they add Bachman too.
And imagine if he gets hurt or struggles and then his value is nothing

Saad + 18th for 1 yr of 32 yr old Mike Ribeiro?

Your out of your mind

And Bachman isn't that good of a prospect ,, He is about to turn 25 and is basically a longterm #2

We're not getting Ribeiro and/or Bachman then. Like I said, Gaustad got No. 21 overall + 4th and you're suggesting Dallas would take No. 18 straight up for a much better player? On top of that, we already know they wanted Saad for Grossman. If you don't want to give up Saad + 1st for Ribs, that's fine, but it is a hell of a lot more likely to be Saad + 1st than just 1st. Teams will be lining up for Ribs at the TD, God knows what they might get.

the reasons why some of you don't like ribeiro is exactly why he'd be a great addition to the hawks. plus the man can play hockey. he better cut that diving **** out though

I'll set Mikey up with a nice Life Alert system. He can press his little button on the ice, and say, HELP ME, MERCY! and they will come and get him and they will fix him and they will make him good again and they will all be happy and they will all leave and they will all come back the next day and they will all do it again and they will all be happy and they will all continue the cycle.

Minds=blown.

Seriously, though, if we could have our centers being Toews - Ribeiro - Bolland - Slater I would drop off fifty pounds of roses and 438 boxes of chocolates at Bowman's front stoop.

If you get Ribeiro, you have to play him on a line with Hossa. You pretty much have no choice.

Sharp - Toews - Kane
Saad - Rebeiro - Hossa
Shaw - Bolland - Stalberg
Hayes - Slater - Kruger

Keith---------Seabrook
Hammer----Jackman
Leddy--------Souray

An amazing battle between Beach,Jayes,Shaw,Morin,
Saad, Carcillo etc to make the roster throughout the year

I ****ing hate this clown. I'd rather add Torres, Luongo & Ebbett to our Roster and bring back Huet before I would consider Ribeiro. Some talk about Issues with Kane? They would love Ribeiro. I hate him and want nothing to do with him. Hope Bowman stays away

I wouldn't say no to Ribeiro, but I'm closer to Bubba than most. I think he's a ******* tool and would greatly prefer if he wasn't on a team I liked.

I don't agree with Bubba on anything really, but I despise Ribero. After what he did in Montreal in the playoffs, I don't even want him in the league, let alone dirtying the IndianHead.

He hasn't been much of a diver since he left Montreal many moons ago.

Get back to me in December and we'll talk about whether or not people want Kane gone.

The Hawks problems were their overall defensive game; center depth; penalty killing and a big guy for the front of the net on the PP.

Solution
Lets trade one of their best defensive forwards and penaltly killers (Bolland), who happens to be a center for a frail, offensive forward (
Ribiero). That should improve the team a lot.
