too good to be true?

Has anyone heard of this site:

http://guna-shopping.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=36

The prices on hockey equipment is unreal. How can this be?

I would stay far away from that. If it's way too good to be true, it probably is.

Notice the address? Indonesia? No thanks.

I wonder if all this stuff is somehow being siphoned off from mainland Chinese factories? There doesn't seem to be any reviews of the site, either positive or negative. I would never use it but I find it it interesting and wonder how they actually work?

I'd be surprised if they actually had any physical product. Or just horribly cheap knockoffs that aren't anything like the actual product they're listing.

Don't. There are many scams like that here, they will ask you to wire the money first so based on that alone you should stay away.

I must give them credit for how updated their sites are, though...

Wow definitely stay away from this... Notice how they don't have an "online security" stamp at the bottom of their site or something like that. All online stores have some sort of "E-Security" thing (sorry I don't really know how to describe it lol).

I'm tempted to pick up some holders just to see if it's legit or not. If I use my credit card I can just issue a chargeback if it's shady, right?

There is absolutely no way that is a real site.

If you're ever unsure about a website you can go to godaddy.com for free and look up who owns the site and where they are located with the whois feature. Guna-shopping.com is owned by somebody in Jakarta so if you're comfortable in sending your money to Jakarta for hockey equipment that's on you.

And until someone can prove to me that is a real site, I'm closing this thread.
