What players do you really wanna get off your team? What would you do with them? How would you replace them?

For the Montreal Canadiens it would have to be either Rivet or Brisebois
I would trade one of them for a top 4 D and the other I would replace him with Hansey.

Also, I would like to take out Sundstrom. A 3rd liner making close to 2 mil is too much. I would put Higgins or Pleks at his place.

Salary wise, I don't want rivet or brisebois... but just going on a player that brings absolutly nothing to a team.... my vote would go to Karl Dykhuis

We cut all big useless contracts last year luckily, except for Daze in some people's opinion. The only guy we have that brings nothing to the table is Travis Moen.

ummm...honestly...I dunno.

Ian Moran is gone and Steve McKenna are gone...we need a new guy to rag on now. Matt Bradley was leaning towards being that guy but he finished the season strong.

For the Wings, Curtis Joseph. I've never thought much of him and still don't really.

And while I don't want to say that "I want him gone", I really hope Steve Yzerman makes the right decision and retires sooner rather than later. I don't want to see him end his career in the same way as another one of my all-time faves, Emmitt Smith.

Haha. Good luck. Try a mid-round pick for either of them cause that's all their worth. If you think someone else is going to give up a top-4 defenseman just to replace them with an overpaid, aging player like Rivet or Brisebois, you're seriously dreaming.

For Calgary, there's no one I'd give up at this point. Turek might come close, but he restructured his contract and could be considered one of the better backup 'tenders in the league.

For my Flyers, geez, where do I start. Well, Brashear and Fedoruk would be gone. They bring nothing to the table at all. Both are nothing more than over glorified goons and bad ones at that. As much as it pains me because he's been so loyal to the team, John LeClair would have to go. He's done. Poor fella. I'd be willing to bet he'd get reunited with Lindros somewhere and they'd probably go on a tear. I also wouldn't mind getting rid of Amonte either. He's taking the top spot on Gagne and it's time that Hitch gets Gags out of that defensive specialist role and let him run on the top offensive line.

Defense wise, I'd love to see Desjardins go. I'm sorry, but the past few years, his age has begun to catch up on him. No playoffs in 2004, one round in 2003. And all of this for $5 million per season. At one time, Eric was an elite defenseman. He isn't anymore. It's time to say bye to Eric. And I'd probably say bye to Vladimir Malakhov as well. He's 35, nearing the end of the road, and you'll never get a full season out of him. Whether it's shoulder or knee or back, he just never plays a full season. It's time to let Seidenburg play a whole lot and let him develop properly, not just sit in a press box and watch or maybe play 7 to 10 minutes a game.

That brings me to one last player....Sean Burke. He did nothing in his second go around in Philadelphia. He was supposed to be our backup and it's clear that his time has passed him. When Niitymaki was up, he was stellar. It's time to start grooming the heir apparent and get him ready. Bye bye Sean.

I don't care if we have five or six rookies on the team filling spots. Fact of the matter is this. The veterans haven't won us anything. It's time to start the development of the kids and groom them for their potential roles on the team. Bring on Carter, Richards, Ruzicka, Umberger, Seidenburg, etc......It can't be any worse than what we have now.

I would take out Curtis Joseph because of his inconsistent play with the wings and Hatcher because he is SO slow!

Turgeon ... 3rd line players should not be paid that much, especially for his output, the only thing positive he has brought to the stars was a relatively higher +/- last season when so many stars were under.

Igor Radulov and Travis Moen. The only other two on the Hawks I'd even trade are Daze and Arnason

Skoula!

Sorry force of habit.

I'm not sold on Gratton. He might make a good 3rd line center, but i'm skeptical

Is Daze really that bad? I know he gets hurt a lot and makes a lot of money but when he is actually playing, I think he's pretty useful.

For the Florida Panthers, I'd like every transaction since the 24th of May this year negated, with the possible exception of Dudley bein fired. I'd like the team to wash its hands of Keenan completely, and just about every roster move he has made, from the free agents he has signed (Hill, Karpovtsev, Cairns, Kwiatkowski, Henry, and McLennan) to the draft (Olesz and Booth in particular) to the manner that Keenan and Martin got the jobs. Regardless if Dudley got fired or not, I'd rather have seen an actual attempt to find the best man available for the jobs (Burke possibly), as opposed to hirin a buddy of the owner's and his buddy in Martin (who gave an interview that pretty much states that the two were a package deal). Keenan should have been left to makin reality TV instead of ruining another organization (even tho its hard to get worse than this one already is).

Jackets would have to be Scott Lachance. Aside, Luke Richardson after his crazy Burger King comment to protest the NHL and it's owners

EDIT: Ozzie's already got me covered!

My wish was granted this summer: Both Modry and Stumpel are gone from the LA Kings!

Dagenais is one hell of a thorn, though the storm is calming.

With the Canucks, Marek Malik, no question. His +/- is incredibly deceiving. He's paired with Jovo, and always out there with Naslund, Bert, and Morrison. Ohlund and Sopel handle all the work against the top players. Malik must go.

He's just left, Steve McKenna. I would have to say Mike Eastwood, I would like to see Endicott take his place next season.

Cujo for starters. Manny Legace can do the same job but a lot cheaper.

Ray Whitney can go too. Wings are too soft as it is and they could spend the $2.4 (with rollback) million on someone better.
