Real big fan of the line changes. Snooze played really well, I still like the potential of the 2nd line. Adam looking good and it seemed Elias looked a bit better back on the wing, not Kovy's best game but I still like that line. Yayo was surprisingly good and the 4th line kept working hard.
Pete usually doesn't change anything after wins and GOOD because these lines should remain.!!!
Good win, Zach was a beast, glad to see him finally getting rewarded. He's been playing hard all series. Now we just need Patty to get going. Thought Patty had some more energy tonight, but was still too quiet. We'll need him to win the Cup for sure.
Refs were actually in our favor for once, been a while since I've seen that. Makes up for the horrific game 2 I guess.
Only thing to criticize about tonight is the PP, it didn't look very good. Thank goodness we didn't need it. This Rangers team has almost nothing for us 5-on-5 I figured our skaters were better than there's but my god, I didn't expect things to be this lopsided.
It's just like Puddy's taunting of Kramer after the last game 4 - they couldn't get out of their own zone. We're living down there. I figured we wouldn't dominate play against this Rangers D as badly as we did the Flyers, but we are The Rangers have played 2 good periods where they outplayed us, and another couple that were even. Other than that we are smoking them.
This Devils team is just relentless. Very proud of this bunch. Will be very frustrating to lose this series, playing as well as we are. Hopefully they can continue to solve Henrik.
We've certainly solved their 6 goalie system - we were tearing through it last game with a gazillion odd man rushes, but Henrik won that game for them, their famed shot blocking meant little. And tonight we actually blocked more shots than them! So the Devils have figured the 6GS out. Good puck movement, smart passes, timely shots, traffic in front. And most importantly, wonderful execution. Henrik is the only thing keeping us from winning this series now.

Ilya Kovalchuk had the best quote on the #Rangers, #Devils rivalry - "this is not chess - this is hockey. It's a man's game!"
through all this positivity, patty still needs to pick his game up. hes been hot garbage.
He made a few better decisions tonight, but there were still some brain farts and a couple of those patented no-look drop-pass turnovers. Hopefully that line looks better next game because they were the only one that scared me tonight.

Brodeur said Rupp punched him in the chest and his fist came up and hit him in the mask. Brodeur: "Now I know I can take a punch."
