Surely that's not really important but the way Barulin is playing this season.. I wouldn't want him on my team even as an extra..

Sorry, did I miss something or Kovi-Datsyuk-Radulov line was Bill's favourite?

Everyone already knows whats up. Russia just have no star players capable to play defense. So it doesn't matter if you know about it, you still can't do much about it anyways. Might as well get everyone to score goals and play run and gun style.

However, the ice will be bigger this year. 4 years ago Canada started the guy flying back and force, force and backchecking our guys to the oblivion. That will not be as effective on big ice so run and gun strategy might actually work.

so that means the first 3 offensive lines are for sure!!!!!:

Kovalchuk-Malkin-Radulov
Ovechkin-Datsyuk-Syomin
Popov-Tereshchenko-Perezhogin

when we put all the informations from the past bilyaletdinov interviews together, the 4th projected line can maybe look like that:

Kulyomin-Anisimov-Tarasenko(Tikhonov)
Pile of nonsense. Never ever will there be a Kovy-Mal-Radu line.

Bill will never consider it, but I'd like to see the Kovalchuk-Datsyuk-Malkin line again. They were incredible a few years ago.

Anisimov has been playing decent recently. He's a fairly sound two way center that gets PK and PP time for the Jackets. I'd consider him for 4th line center and 2nd PK unit

With Bill mentioning (when asked about Mozyakin's abscence) that there will be 2 attacking and 2 defensive minded lines, it makes me think that Ovi-Malkin-Semin line is not so impossible after all.

close to none for sure. even though his head coach is now with the coaching staff. he's got no invite to EHT games. Tha't pretty clear a statement that something extraordinary would have to happen to put him on the roster.

The depth chart ahead of him is pretty tough to crack: Radulov, Syomin, Tarasenko. Even if his ceiling might be higher than some of them he's stilll have to prove he's worth it right here and now. His chances are slim, but I do hope he makes it.

I guess his chances of making the 2nd NT which is going to play some friendlies against France are pretty much zero as he is not on it. Does that answer your question?

That's how rumors are created and develop. Bill never stated he will have 2 defensive lines. He said the 3rd and 4th liners should be able to play on the PK(and tha's definitely not one of Mozyakin's qualities).

In this interview (http://www.sport-express.ru/olympic1...y/news/650227/) he mentioned that "Mozyakin is a LW. We have total 4 LW roster spots. And half of them will be defending.". On a second thought it might be just a misleading quote, as I can't imagine that another half of LW won't be defending at all.

Thanks to our journalists. There seem to be totally different versions of the same interview.
