There's always a way to twist his performance into something negative, isn't there?

So I'm guessing he trolled the entire fanbase by scoring a goal last night? LOL

Gaborik should get half the credit for that goal, he was the last one to touch it before Marty kicked it in and stepan poked Marty's leg. Regardless of what he does I'll never forget the open net miss, that was the game right there

Id love to know the same thing, our offense was working and opposing our will its like torts said hey this is to fast and were getting to many good chances while sacrificing defense for offense, so rather then keep up what works slow it down and start the dump n chase again? It's ****ing rediculous notice NONE of our goals have come as a result of a great dump and chase play? Idk of anyone's run this by torts but it doesn't do ****.

Probably has been discussed but I've avoided this thread for awhile. Who would say no to a Gaborik/Nash swap?

I would say no. Nash is one of the most overrated players in the league with one of the worst contracts in the league. I don't want him for free.

No.... If you get frustrated with Gaborik under-performing with his talents, wait til you see Nash play.

As for Gaborik trade option, I was thinking maybe Minnesota might want him back?

Possibly pry Charlie Coyle or Jonas Brodin as part of a package?

St. Louis, involving Oshie or Perron as part of a package?

Vancouver? They need some offense on their 2nd line, perhaps a deal surrounding Alexander Edler?

IMO if you're going to deal Gaborik include 1-2 more assets and upgrade the position.

Gaborik, Tim Erixon & 1st for Corey Perry

No to that deal. Perry is a pending UFA. I would rather trade Gaborik for talent on ELC or cheaper contracts and aim for Getzlaf/Perry/Crosby/Malkin/Iginla during FA period.

Absolutely not.

Overrated, overpaid player. Don't want anything to do with him.

Not true. Draws penalties. Distracts opponents. Opens up ice. Not as good as scoring, but also not "nothing."

You guys are nuts... Nash would fit this team much better than Gaborik and that's just based on his size. Gaborik hasn't been bad but he isn't a big game player. That's not to say Nash is without a doubt but I'd rather his big body on a line with Richards than the ultimate perimeter player Gaborik.

it's all a guessing game anyways if Nash would be a good fit on this team. Some say NO Way....Some say Yes Way.

I say Yes. And if anything....I think he would have more of an impact and score more than Gaborik does come Playoff time. Of course it is all speculation and best guesses, but I look at this way. He can't be any worse.

lets be objective.....how do you know that for sure?

How do you know that Nash would be terrible here? Forget the contract for a second. They both make the same annually. Nash has more years left on his.

But seriously.....how do you know he wouldn't perform here? You don't. It's a guess. Perhaps he would thrive here. Or he could bomb. But for many to say oh no, this would be a terrible trade is only looking at it from the surface. He's still relatively young (27/28). Which should be Prime Years. I think we shouldn't be so quick to discount the thought of Nash in a Ranger uniform. He might just be a great fit here Or not...

agree. he still gets double teamed so at least that's good.
