If Bettman has an ounce of business sense in his head, he will FIND a way to make that happen (by means fair OR foul).

Coming out of this lockout, the NHL will need something equivalent to the McGuire/Sosa home run chase. Crosby playing for the highest profile team in the NHL would be just what the doctor ordered.

The chatter on ALL boards would jump. People pay attention to the Rangers either because they like them or hate them.

It's definitely going to be interesting to see how this year's draft is handled.

I'd just take hockey at this point. Of course, the WJC starts up on the 25th, so that'll atleast be somthing.

As for crosby, call me a pessimist, but I've got the feeling that they're won't be a draft for a quite a while.

you know all the talk would be bettmen fixed the lottery. i bet every single person that supports bettmen now during the lockout would turn right on him if the rangers won lottery.

christmas is the time to dream of crosby in a rangers uniform.

Maybe they're going to wait until the NHL season is cancelled. I'm going through some withdrawal here without any Pack games. Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
