Skrudland talks about modern NHL management

Found this one this evening...Brian Skrudland, now with Florida's management team talks about Montreal, Bergevin and modern NHL management. http://habsloyalist.blogspot.ca/2012...nhl-order.html

I loved the Skrudland-McPhee-Lemieux line even better. Best 3rd line in the history of the team.

yeah that's what it says. Isn't he a Sea Dog?

Anyway, it's nice to see that Bergevin seems to have connections around the league and that people generally like him. He'll surround himself with good people (Dudley pending), but just his own charisma is going to help us out a lot.

I think he meant that he's doing well in Shawi as in the tournament... or he has no idea what he's talking about.

Nobody was clutch like Lemieux. The Gainey line could shut down Wayne Gretzky, but couldn't put the puck in the net if their lives depended on it. Lemieux could, and always at the opportune moment. That and the fact that McPhee and Skrudland were very bad skaters that were sooooo funny to see on the ice at the same moment, because they were just awkward out there. lol. I loved that crash and bang line. Wish we had one like that today.

^^this^^ ("recent" history)

Latendresse- Lapierre - Kostopoulos reminded me, a little (Lemieux's Conn Smythe aside!), of McPhee - Skrudland - Lemieux.

Well if you want to be technical, the movie is Beetlejuice. The star is Betelguese.
