The only one I am really upset about is Weber not winning

I figured Poile wouldn't win. Honestly, I thought Tallon would. I don't expect Rinne to win the Vezina over Lundqvist or Quick. The one I thought a Pred had a solid shot at was Norris, but I was concerned about Chara (though Weber definitely had the better season between the two). Didn't expect the voters to give it to Karlsson solely based on points. Oh well...

At least Will Arnett is funny

Well, that's all I wanted to see. Maybe later I'll go through and watch the rest of the Will Arnett bits (if there are any more)

Ok weber losing might save us a half mil per year on his deal, that's about the only bright side I can see. Karlsson winning is totally lame. Weber had as many goals just not as many assists and is much much better at actually playing, you know, defense...

Oh look, another bad performance by Nickleback.

Does the NHL know just because Nikleback is from Vancouver doesn't make them good.

Te sad part is I've seen them live.

Simple answer? It is located below the Ohio River and is in the Central time zone. Move it a couple hundred miles northeast and we'd probably be one of the most talked about and hyped franchises in the league. We also play 'boring' hockey and don't have any 'sexy' offensive players...no matter, the awards are a popularity contest, I'd rather us stay under the radar anyway.

Cause we told Baldsilly and Hamilton to stick it, and certain writers hold that against our players, coaches, and front office.

Really only upset about the Norris and the EA Cover Vote. Norris, pretty self-explanatory. Ottawa would be my second team, only team in all of sports I could cheer for after my favourite, and I really enjoy Karlsson but there's no way Weber should have lost. If anything, I thought Chara might squeak out a win over Weber. Disappointed there.

As for the cover vote, I knew it wasn't going to happen. But, what I don't understand is that EA tweeted Rinne was up but 0.4% with about 2-1.5 hours left until the deadline. But it took 1-1.5 DAYS for just 0.2% of votes to make a difference in the polls. How do votes/players close in on each other at 0.2% over 1 day while Rinne somehow blows a 0.4% lead in 2 hours? Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Ah well, can't do anything but post my frustrations.

I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist, but I don't see the NHL or EA ever using a Predator as a cover athlete over a Flyer.

You know, it really doesn't matter. An annual game that gets updated every year and the last one is forgotten as the new one comes out. It's more of a novelty factor than anything if Rinne did get on the cover.
