I hope you're playing it with the Complete mod. Is it the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. you've played? It's the only one where the side missions are actually fun and meaningful. I suggest doing all the side missions if you can.

I'm playing it with Complete mod of course. I also changed the numbers for trading so that I can sell stuff that is 50% or more durability, instead of the default 70%. I beat SoC, and holy **** balls was that ending hard.

Heh, good luck with the ending of CoP then! I didn't think the SoC ending was too tough but CoP had me reloading save files quite a few times.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition

I turned it on and started in a cave of Deathclaws. Fun relearning the controls there

The CoP ending is really hard as well. I'm playing Clear Sky at the moment, it's the one out of the three I haven't finished.

I haven't tried any mods for the games, what's their significance?

Improved AI, better graphics, better sound, bug fixes and so on.

Also, I hear the ending for Clear Sky is at least 10 times harder than SoC's ending.

Never heard of this game until I read this! I think I may certainly give it a try considering I have been fascinated with building my own computer game since the late 90's, back when the thought of the average person doing so was considered impossible.

That game is wicked, I had so much fun playing it

That reminds me that I got Clear Sky but never did finish it

On-topic: I got Tomb Raider while it was on sale and have just started it

Just Cause 2
Mass Effect 3
Killzone 3

I'm having a ton of fun with Just Cause 2, wasn't sure how the controls were going to feel but they feel great and frankly it's definitely more fun than GTA IV imo.

If you haven't, go play Red Dead Redemption.

Probably the best singleplayer game I've ever played.

So I picked up a few more indie games recently and decided I started having to wade through some of the ones I have.

I played through all of a few of them and I played through a good chunk of another two.

-Dear Esther.... this one is weird. It's not really a "game" it's more like a stroll around on an island with an odd backstory inter-spliced. For some reason I really liked looking around in the cave areas but most of the rest of the "game" was dull and the whole thing took about 65 mins to "beat."

-Anodyne: Decent JRPG style of game with a witty sense of humour. Mechanics remind me a lot of the original Zelda game.

-Botanicula: Really liked this game. The storytelling without any words or voices is remarkable for such a cartoony game.

-Sword of the Stars: The Pit: A rogue-lite RPG game that is really challenging, in the same vain as FTL with less management of people and more management of inventory and items.

-The Swapper: This game just came out but is quickly becoming one of my favourite indie games. It's a puzzle/adventure game that takes place on a couple of space stations. The art and music are superb (all the art was done in clay!). Strongly recommend this game if you have even a passing interesting in indie games as it's one of my favourites.

Started XCOM Enemy Unknown this morning and really enjoying it so far. I only finished the first three missions, played for about an hour straight. I didn't really want to stop either but had to for work. Seems like a game I'm really going to get sunk into.

Also tried playing No Time to Explain. It looked like fun and it is but it is seriously the worst optimized game I think I have ever played. It's an indie 2D platformer with simple graphics that at times I don't even get a whole frame per second... Full screen runs terribly, so you shut it off, then your mouse goes out of the window and you click something in the background pausing the game. I figured I'd deal with that annoyance but then it got to the point where even windowed mode had terrible frame rates so I just installed the game and cried away my however few dollars that I spent for it.

Almost done Blood Dragon. I'm going around doing all the side stuff before I do the last level so I can have my guns upgraded. Great game, just short.

Edit: Went with GRFS

- Skyrim: Modding/testing and playing the game
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity
- Super Mario 64: Modding/testing and playing some Mods
- Alice: Madness Returns: Don't really know why, but I seem to return to this game every 1-2 years. Love the story and the artwork.

EDIT: Completely forgot to mention I wanna be the guy. As soon as I beat this game on impossible, I can die in peace

Going for the platinum in Dark Souls.. had to solo Super Saiyan Ornstein because I didn't get his soul in my first run. It's actually not that bad if you just crowd him and stand on his toes.

Started Tomb Raider finally.

I'm not sure on it. On the one hand the character treatment has been decent and I kinda like the location and feel of the game.

My problem so far has been with some of the displays in the game. They kinda feel overtly "flashy" for no particular reason and it's very distracting. The campfires are a good example of this.

Also had a strange graphics problem where I hit a cut scene area that caused all the colours to go bright pink, purple, green and blue.

Very odd.
