Just got 100% in Saints Row The Third a few hours ago. By the end, that game was pissing me off even though I had a ton of fun with it during the rest of the game.

The vehicle theft assignments are absolutely terrible. I rage quit a few times because I'd get to where the car or helicopter needs to be delivered, but it would light on fire when I got there because of the cops/gangs.

Great game though, and it's all I was playing for the past week after I stopped playing it a few months earlier.

Painkiller Black is an incredibly fun game for $2.50 as a flash deal. It has an awesome metal sound track and is just an over the top shoot em up kind of game.

I've been on a PS2 kick lately. Playing Okami, Shadow of the Colossus and one of my all time favorites, Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter.

More current, playing Catherine and Skyrim.

I picked up Dragon's Dogma last week and finally had some time to start playing it the other day. It's a lot of fun, though the learning curve is very high and the game can go from very easy to extremely difficult in a matter of minutes. Still, lots of fun so far and I love how realistic it is (no fast travel, and you need a lantern if you're going out at night because it gets pitch black). Small things like that make this game a bit more immersive than a game like Skyrim where you can pull up your map and travel anywhere you want at any time.

Still playing Tales of Symphonia.

I never realized how crap the Multiplayer battle camera is until now. I never had a problem with it in the past, which is kinda weird. Why the hell is it focused on one character in a game where coop can be played??

Speaking of Tales... Why is Vesperia initially a 360 exclusive? Now it's for the PS3 (which I actually own) as well... in Japan...

The producer of the Tales series said this in an interview around a week ago:

Quote:
Tales of Vesperia was the first title in the series which was planned to be released simultaneously in Japan, North America and Europe. This was very difficult and it was such a heavy burden for the team. So for the PS3 version, it was decided to reduce this burden and to develop it just for Japan.
http://operationrainfall.com/tales-p...-localization/

There was a rumor that it was due to an excluse contract between Namco and Microsoft but the same person from Namco who said that retracted her statement a few months later.

Downloaded Persona 3 last night after I noticed it on the PSN for $10. I had never played any of the games in this series, and I'm absolutely hooked.

Same for me. Taking a break right now but excited to get back to it once I finish Vesperia again. Getting the social links up and everything is enjoyable. Have just as much fun going through the school week as I do in the Dark Hour.

I've been loving Ys Origin since I bought it, it plays like a faster paced Zelda style game without puzzles. The boss battles are a ton of fun, easily the best part of the game IMO. The soundtrack goes along great with the game too.

I like the stuff outside of the Dark Hour a bit more so far, but the dungeon crawling aspect is much better than I anticipated. I thought this game was going to have random encounters, so it's a huge relief that it doesn't. I also usually hate turn-based combat, but the combat system here is fairly interesting and most battles go by pretty fast.

I just wish you could do more than one thing in an afternoon though. Midterms are coming up, and I still haven't gone to a single Kendo practice.

Only game I'm playing regularly is Company of Heroes.

Purchased Bastion and Left 4 Dead 2 off steam for sale, hoping to get to those two next week when I'm free.

Also, I've only been able to play one gave of Civ 5 so far with the Gods and Kings expansion, hoping to start a new game soon as well.

Just fooling around in Red Dead Redemption. I beat the game and got 100% completion ages ago but sometimes I just like causing mayhem or riding my horse and hunting animals.

At least once a month I run around town and lasso a bunch of people up and line them up. I then proceed to throw malatov cocktails on them all and watch them burn.

Perfectly normal right!

Not playing often nowadays, but I started playing Earthbound on my SNES for the first time in at least a decade. Very, very pleasantly surprised at how well it's aged. Think it's even better than I remember, tbqh.

I've been playing a bit of Sim City 4 lately. So much fun, can't wait for Sim City 5.

Also, I bought Torchlight when it was a flash deal last night. I never played any Diablo games and I know this game is very similar, and I'm having a blast. The game is a lot of fun and it runs perfectly on my terrible laptop.

I can't stop playing Prototype currently. Played through it once and have started again so I can do everything and actually follow the story. I started by combing the city to get all the landmarks and hints and of course I had 35 left over I had missed... youtube beckons at some point.

been playing a lot of the sins of a solar empire mod "sacrifice of angels"... which is a conversion mod to the Star Trek Universe. Allows you to play as the Federation, Borg, Klingons, Romulans or Dominion. Very fun.

Downloaded a bunch of games in the steam sale...

Played a bit of Borderlands, Super Meatboy and CIV 5 in the last couple of days.

EDIT:

Oh and I had purchased Mortal Kombat on 360 a couple weeks ago and played through a good chunk of the story mode. Great fighter, and i'm usually not a fan of them.
