NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

It's tough. We have a chance to move up two games in the series and really take hold of it, and we don't take advantage of that.
It's our start. We have to be better at the start of the game.
- Ryan Callahan

It's pretty simple. Both teams don't like each other, and we're both just trying to play hard and get wins.
- Dan Girardi

All I'm concerned about is the next game. We need to answer the proper way. That's the only thing I'm concerned about right now, how we're going to answer. And we've done it all playoffs.
- John Tortorella

Please... please... please come out strong and play well in the 1st period. Score the first goal and we're fine.

3-1 win.

Hagelin, Richards with goals and an empty netter by Feds.

Elias x1 for the Devils.

I'm quite worried, several key players have sort of tuned out and are just skating around trying not to get noticed...

Just not true. They're tired and trying not to make mistakes. As a result their offensive play suffers.

Then we need some fresh legs and heads out there...

This is the second play of's that Stepan has just "been there" and not done much..and Hagelin is what....1 point in 8-10 games ?

You're probably right there, they have looked absent.

There's no way I sit what little offensive talent we actually have, tho. Feds, Mitchell and Bickel (a given, I guess) are closer to being scratched imo.

Knock the crap out of these guys.
Come on, be the Rangers I know. Forecheck, interrupt them.
Why let the Devils dictate the game? That's supremely boring.

GO RANGERS!!

PS
Embarrass Maaarrrtty (if he is capable, that is)
