Should I watch Game 5?

This is superstitious, but please help me.

I missed half of game 3 because I overslept. Score when I woke up was 0-0.

I missed all of game 4 because I was at a concert. We won.

Should I watch Game 5?

Eh, I say go for it unless you're personally superstitious.

Curiously enough for an extremely rational person like me I've been considering the same thing.

The Devils record this playoffs when I can watch : 2-5
The Devils record this playoffs when I can't watch because of work : 8-1

Seriously I studied a lot of rational decision making and even then I fall victim to superstition. I had all my stupid ones when I was a goalie and I have all the other stupid ones as a fan.

Wanna sit this one out together?

Only the Devils make me even let a superstitious thought cross my mind. It's weird, nothing else in my life does that to me.

I dunno about sitting it out. I mean, if I'm throwing rational thought to the wind, were they winning because I couldn't watch, or because I was at work (8-0 when wearing the Larsson jersey to work and 0-1 when wearing the Marty jersey)? I dunno. What a ridiculous conversation this is...

I say watch it, unless it will make you miserable to do so. I might watch. If I do it will be by myself and I'll turn the channel if they start to lose. Really you and I both know us watching has absolutely no affect on the outcome of the game.

Cable was a fight with my roommates. DVR is a luxury I simply cannot ever fathom having here.

And if I want to go to a concert, my buddy's band is playing, so I could do that. Thanks for the offer, though.

I've tried not shaving, shaving, wearing different shirts, wearing different hats, watching different pre game videos, and about everything else I can think of this postseason, all to various degrees of success. The only thing that seems to be working yet is me not getting a haircut. I don't think my hair has ever been this long before.

So I'd say watch the game.

I've been shaving every morning of games since game 4 against fla until we lost game 3 this series. It's obvious I will not be shaving tomorrow morning. Haha

I had a few going earlier in the playoffs. They weren't always every game type things, so they lasted multiple rounds. Once any of those lost though I stopped worrying about it. Only thing I've stuck with is that I don't shave on game days.

Would it be considered a superstition if I put my pants on one leg at a time during the playoffs? I do it during the regular season to, but I do so with SO much more intensity come playoff time.

Hockey teams do not win or lose because of what they do on the ice. They only win or lose by what we wear or don't wear, or by what we do or don't do. Amirite?

Refuse to vote because Devils are winless when I vote in ridiculous polls.

Watch the game.

Meh, your superstitions don't matter to me. All that matters are mine. I really believe what I do effects the game.

I didn't make a single post in the GDT of game 4 till after it was over. Going to repeat tonight.

Time to cease this ********.

I was once 5-0 this postseason when I didn't stream and watched on TV, and now I'm 7-2.

Superstitions all wear out at the end of the day.
