Am I crazy or was that one of our best periods of the series in term of territorial play?

How are we losing this game 3-1???

They have to do something that they haven't done since Game 1 against Ottawa.

Rangers have to learn how to pick and interfere off the puck.

The Devils have been getting away with murder tonight.

What drives me crazy out of all the absolute BS that occurred in that period is that Gionta high sticks Stepan with BOTH ref's watching (I made a point to look during the replay) and no one called anything. Nothing. Which led to the first goal...

In my opinion we played a very good period and it's just unfortunate we're down. The only reason gionta was even open on the first goal was because he took Stepan out of the play by high sticking him and then not only is he open because of that, the ref decides not to call a penalty on it either. Second goal they scored was just horrible luck (and wouldn't have happened had the penalty been called on Gionta earlier but it's hard to project back earlier). Third goal just because mcondagh got too fancy in the offensive zone and turned it over though the save should have been made. I'm pretty confident we can come back if we play like that the rest of the game.

We've had lots of offensive chances. Gaborik missed one from right in, Feds has had chances, The defense has been up with chances. We had way more chances in this period compared to ones previously.

And I hate to come here and say stuff like this but the Devils got more breaks in that period than any period I've ever seen. Every little thing is going their way

Exactly. its 3-1 because of a bad goal by Hank and Gabby missing THAT CHANCE.

Should really be 3-2 or at least 2-2

Rangers are still losing this game, don't even bother thinking we have a shot.

Could easily be 3-3, if Gabby hits the ****ing net and the dribbler from Dubi's (?) deflection between marty's legs doesn't go just wide.
