That's kind of disingenuous, everyone knows about Kovy's semi-secret injury. Zid, Volch, and Sal have all played through stuff that might have kept them out in the regular season. I'll be very surprised if Patty isn't injured.

That comment he made about the Flyers controlling play and being comfortable while the Devils were rolling them with 12 shots to none was truly bizarre.

What is he afraid of? There are several media personalities who are openly candid about their support of the NY Rangers. I'm starting to think he's a fraud as well. He needs to get a luxury box suite with Kevin Smith. And Kevin, if you're reading this, how about that Brian Gionta?

He's on Twitter, right? We can unleash our Twitter troll brigade on him.

I think 1994 can be a burden to the Rangers too. They keep being asked about a team that nobody was apart of 18 years ago. NO rangers player was even in the league in 1994. It's if the Islanders got real good next year and were being asked about the early 80's dynasty.

That's really messed up. Take shots at damn near anything else in the organisation if you want to, but Doc is a saint.

Irony how that Tweet was to Eddie O , who played 3 amazing minutes in game 6 of the 1994 ECF. Was a gaudy -1 and never saw the ice again after Niedermayer scored in the 1st period. Only game he played during that whole 1994 playoff run.

and considering Doc is probably that least bias play by play more in the history of sports, that was a low blow.

It's ABSOLUTELY a burden to the Rangers. Potentially losing a series to the Devils is bad enough. But all the talk about 94 just even further sets them up for failure if they can't "pull it off"..

It's one thing to keep the faith, but it's a totally other thing to set the bar infinitely high, which is what the media is doing right now.

Did anyone from the Jets make a guarantee when they made the Super Bowl recently to re-live Joe Willy Nameth's history??

No.

The ESPN 1050 studio is in the MSG office complex above ground. La Greca is also the backup play-by-play guy for the rangers. I'm telling you that there has to be extreme bad blood between Lou and Sather, in that employees are extremely reluctant to show the slightest preference for the team across the river.

Pierre is a "flavor of the week" kinda guy. He jumps on whatever story is deemed "sexy" at that moment. That leads him to giving credit to most teams at certain times, but it doesn't change the fact that he has a giant ego.

Thats a lot of pressure on Callahan and Lundvist. Can they win tomorrow, yeah. I think it's 40/60 they win. Can they come off a great victory in game 6 and then spit the bit in game 7? Yes.

I think the Devils have a legit shot of beating the Rangers in a game 7. A better chance than both Washington and Ottawa.

Pierre McGuire is annoying. He's angling for GM job and wants to show executives around the league he's a hockey dictionary at the cost of annoying the viewers at home. Completely self-serving. Like, seriously, who cares what high school Parise went to? Who gives a **** who the Boston College head coach is?

And yet he takes every chance he gets to remind viewers that he is a Stanley Cup champion. What a fraud.

Just like the guy in your avatar did when he said it would be a quick series win for the Rangers.
