Apparently ECF presale for Devils season ticket holders is starting at 4:00 pm today. They may talk a big game about not re-selling to Ranger fans, but you just know Stubhub is going to be showing a big spike in listings at around 4:01 pm

The codes are email specific from what I understand so I don't think that will work

Apparently, the Devils are really worried about the Ranger fans going to games if we make it to the finals.

Quote:
Additionally, because both teams remaining in the other series have fan bases in close proximity, we ask you to be as dedicated as the last two rounds in ensuring that The Rock is filled with as much RED as possible. Please once again consider that collective rallying cry as you make your decisions on whether or not to pick up additional seats for re-sale. We ask that if you are interested in re-sale, that you do everything in your power to try to get the tickets in the hands of other Devils fans specifically. We know many of you had friends that came out to Rounds 1 and 2 and this is the perfect opportunity to invite them back for what should be an epic series. As a fan base, this is our opportunity to collectively establish The Rock as the BEST home ice advantage in the NHL. You as fans, have the power to make that happen!
Funny stuff! If they don't want Ranger fans going, they shouldn't be emailing me the info!!

Umm, people will do everything in their power to make sure those tickets find the hands belonging to the people willing to spend the most money for them, regardless of fan affiliation.

Cmon now.

As I mentioned earlier, I was on their list. I got a specific code unique to me and could only buy through TM using the email address they sent the link to (I wish the Rangers did this for their STH). I have four for game 6 (their 3rd home game) in section 133 and four in section 211 for game 4 (their second home game).

They cranked prices up pretty good. The upper level seats (200's) were $101 a pop with fees.

8 more Ranger fans will be in their building than they planned on !

What is even funnier is that they want people wearing red. Guess they don't know what the caps home games look like (not that it will matter anyway).

Yes, a specific code and the Email address they send the code too must match on Ticketmaster when you buy the seats. This is their attempt to make sure only Devil fans get access.

Just used the "Devil fans only" pre-sale code, that the Devils themselves provided me, to pick up 2 seats in Section 126 Row 6 for a potential Game 6 (Home Game 3). So happy right now!!!

Worse comes to worse, I'll find a Capital fan to sell them to lmao

Yeah, getting tickets in Newark to watch the Rangers is definitely not going to be a problem. Just a sampling of posts from the Devils side:

Since you clearly know what you're talking about, why didn't you note that every poster from our board that you quoted above is either HS or College aged?

Why not bother posting over by us instead of quoting posts and running back to your board to point fingers?

$100 is a great deal for a Round 3 playoff game IMO

But maybe I'm just too used to the high prices at MSG lmao

Individually it is. With MSG, it's so overpriced that the season ticket price is higher than their individual tickets.

In 94 it was pretty much 50:50 ... you would think the Devs with their success created a larger base. Hopefully we will find out!!!!

Might fly up for one of these!
