Doc just mentioned on the broadcast that Hasek has said Buffalo, Detroit and Tampa are the 3 teams Hasek wants to go to

Heard that also.

If he wants to be a starter, Tampa. If he wants to be a back up, Detroit.

I don't know where he would fit in Buffalo, they have Miller and Enroth, would Enroth be traded or sent down?

As a Tampa fan, I'd absolutely love to have this guy but we still need a young goaltender for the future.

Enroth cant be sent down IIRC, so if they were interested in him as well, id think theyd look to either trade Enroth for a young forward (they have Connor Knapp developing well for when Miller leaves) or, possibly try and move Miller for a top flight scorer

it absolutely amazes me how people use longevity against this guy in Goalie arguments

I'm sure he doesn't give stuff like that a second thought. Novelty probably wore off long ago, and it's all about the challenge of getting prepared and competing for that guy.

Lightning are only on the list because Dom is still buddies with Stevie Y I think. But if we manage to get our bonafide #1, I wouldn't mind if Stevie tossed him a bone and at least gave him a training camp invite.

I thought that was a joke when I saw this, he's serious? Good lord, worse than Forsberg.

I'd love it if he was signed by the Pens to be the back up. I'd buy a Pens Hasek jersey immediately.

Nothing to do with whether I think it's actually a good idea or not, but just seeing Hasek in a Pens jersey would be so awesome

He'll get into a training camp at least for respect/publicity reasons.

Maybe do some time in the AHL/ECHL first.

Why is nobody taking this seriously? Granted, the guy is 47, but he had great numbers in the KHL just a season ago.
46GP 7SO 915SV% 2.48 GAA

honestly, I say go for it.

Last season he Did some climbings in mountains and some other similar stuff.i think he Will doing just fine in NHL. He is very unique. I would doubt more if he were an forward and not an goalie. With some very hard training he Will be a world class goalie

Would love to see him in Pittsburgh as a back-up to Fleury and a mentor to him.

Hasek a goaltending coach? That would be like Having an autist as a music teacher.

If he goes to camp and wins a job I will be utterly amazed. It is more probable that he gets into a few preseason games before retiring for good.
