Well, it's the main boards (Vipers31 shown incredible patience with some misinformed cretins)... But, it's more disgusting that none of the mainstream hockey media even questions (never mind criticise) what he did and is doing now.

You know how effed up situation is when you have Kings and Sharks fan(s) on our side.

Unfortunately for us, he'll likely turn into a pretty solid player. Hopefully Mighty 44 will turn out better though.

i find the reporting of the whole situation as biased, one sided and misinformation the only thing the media have reported is that this "blue chip prospect" is going to FA like the Ducks just let him walk and he wants to go play back home to good old Canada Bob Mckenzie and alike have never mentioned that fact that the kid lied to the face of both the coach and the GM about wanting to stay or the fact he was happy to spend two years as the Ducks number 1 D prospect with us helping improve his game and then leave without a word i wonder how Wild fans or OIl fans would react if this was they top prospect like Brodin or Klefbom lied to them or how the media would react if this was a Russian prospect but since it seems one these big media markets is going to actually win something for the first time in a very long time even if it is just the services of manipulative, dishonest, ego driven prospect it ok and lets just forget about smaller market teams, and personal character

CHARACTER - That's a word that means nothing to JS. In time he will know what it means and it will be too late. He has told the world he has no character and the world will never forget. I'm surprised his Agent and parents are not advising him what is right and what is wrong.

LOL at Mike Eaves (head coach of Wisconsin) on Sportsnet on Schultz's strengths: "He's a character guy, a man of his word". This whole thing and the coverage is starting to make me sick, and I'm Canadian.

Wisconsin must be the place where ******s hang out all the time. Come to think of it, I always thought Gardiner and Schultz were *****.

There is something bizarre about a player that hasn't played a single game of pro hockey telling the Detroit Red Wings that they aren't good enough to make his short list.

Getzlaf said something about Schultz losing respect from not only Anaheim, but other players around the league as well. Btw, Toronto and Ottawa are making their presentations to Justin today. SMH

Most bizarre is all these teams making one to one presentations to him, looks like a lot of teams will have to get on their knees for a, as of right now, no name hockey player

"He's a character guy, a man of his word" ????.

What world is Mike Eaves living in. Is he really serious. As a coach he should be a person who SHOULD be capable of evaluating the character of his players.

JS blatently lied to BM and BB and he is still silent and has not faced up to all the criticism surrounding his actions to date. He is running a dog and poney show.

If this is character then I must be living in a different world from Mike Eaves. If I had a son who was playing hockey, I certainly would not send him to Wisconsin to play under the tutaligh of Mike Eaves if that is the way he interprets good character.

Seems like more of these are popping out.

Quote:
The Justin Schultz Saga: CBA flaws, over hype, and the rookie diva complex.

Here's the vision: Justin Schultz sitting on an oversized chair with his Newport agents flanking him, like a scene from "Game of Thrones" or that terrible Pepsi commercial with Elton John from the Super Bowl. One by one, the representatives of the NHL's fiefdoms present their cases.
"We can offer you ice time!"

"We can offer you a chance to flourish in our system!"

"Hi, I'm Taylor Hall. Please be our friend …"

One by one they pitch him. He ends each plea by pulling a large lever, opening a trap door and sending them down a long chute into a pile of other suits clutching contracts, muttering "thanks, we'll be in touch ... (clap clap) next!"

Haha check out this tweet exchange from Chuck and I:

@UWChuckSchwartz Lol, Mike Eaves called Schultz "A man of his word".. How much **** does your coach eat? ‪#unreal‬

Then our lovely Chuck replies:

@AYYKAYYY47 and now I remember why I had you blocked. *********.

It's as if he was deliberately trying to troll Ducks management and fans. Stunning.

Well, I think it's kind of pathetic, at this point. I mean, we had Niedermayer talk to him, so it's not an entirely different level. Anyway. It would be fun to see him as the "guy who turned down Gretzky" and signing in Tampa or Minnesota, and receive hatred from the Canadian fans that are currently selling their bodies for a good interview. I hope he tells Gretzky he'd love to play for them before, though. We'll see how great a character he still is after that.

I know, I'm kind of getting bitter. This whole thing was basically done. Sign wherever, alright, done, we'll go ahead with the guys we have, that want to be here, and who aren't having columnists all over the country calling them out for some primadonna crap. I suppose this entire circus did help to put a spotlight on it, if there is a silver lining to be found.
