Seriously, I'm emotionally devastated. But very proud of this team. We have a very bright future ahead of us!

For the Rangers fans who remember what it was like in the '98-'04 years, getting to watch the team make it this far in the playoffs is a pleasure in and of itself. The series loss is obviously disappointing, but I thought it was very good season overall. This team, especially compared to some Ranger teams in the past, was truly enjoyable to watch. Also, you have to give the Devils credit; they're a great team and were a bit better when they really needed to be.

Hopefully the Rangers can build on this progress next year and take it to the next level.
Agreed. If someone told me we were going to get this far this year at the start of the season I'd have had them drug tested on the spot. We played good hockey, but couldn't do anything the easy way, it let to a lot of drama, anxiety, and damn good hockey.

The core of our team is young, we have amazing talent up and coming including the baptized by fire and out hard Kreider. We need to focus on changing a few things up (hail mary passing, hanks puck handling, gabby deciding his season ended at game 82, etc) but not too much. Let's hope slats doesn't **** us up in the offseason.

Thank you to the New York Rangers for giving me one of the most exciting years in recent memory as a fan. Every player who donned the blueshirts put on an amazing show, and I have high hopes and expectations for the years to come!

LETS GO RANGERS!

This season was a lot of fun and absolutely no reason to be hanging heads. Tough losing to the Devils but the growth this team experienced this year is unreal. So proud of what this team did this year.

There's 16 teams that make the playoffs, and when it's all done, 15 of those 16 teams end the season with disappointment. It shows just how tough it is to win the Cup.

Yeah we have young guys that are growing, getting better- but you don't have a chance to make it this far every season. There are too many good teams to compete with and too much parody in the league (for example: no repeat cup winners since the Wings in 97-98). This was our chance. I don't know when we'll have another.

This was definitely the best season I've ever witnessed so far. I'm still stunned though. I haven't been able to do anything since the goal until now. We're a young team. Let's learn from this. I NEVER want to feel this way again.

Sucks to lose, but i'm still extremely proud what the NY Rangers have accomplished. It was a good season (and post-season) and I just want to wish all the best to the NJ Devils. Tough luck, but that's just the way it is.

Next year is going to be our year!

i get what some of you are saying it was a great season but dam

i follow this team every day, yes every day, even in the offseason, for us die hards or whatever the term is a loss like this is so tough to take, i feel sick right now

losing in round 1 or 2 is not AS bad, but losing this deep hurts alot, especially in overtime game 6

how some of you are already saying "whatever next year" maddens me, you must not be much of a fan if your already making plans, die hards are feeling puking right now

Heartbreaking end but this was a PHENOMENAL year.

It gave us a lot of great moments that I personally am extremely thankful for as a fan. 1st in the East, 24/7, Winter Classic, 2 Game 7 wins, and Kreider's playoff performance.

I'm still really bummed but good thread, it is important to be thankful and appreciative for what this team was able to achieve.

A lot of us are extremely shocked and disappointed, and are trying to find our silver linings not our clouds. I expect every single one of us feels dreadful.

Add some guys with more skill to the bottom six, hopefully one of the young DMen (Erixon and McLIrath is ready) and get back at it.
Chicago... Our window is wide open still, this team will only get better.

Really proud of the team and the fight they have showed all year.

I think we all have things we aren't happy about but this isn't the thread for it so i will say it was a privilege to follow this team this year.

Its always a privilege, Good bad or ugly

Very proud of this team and it is only gonna get better as this team is so young. Last time around it was an old team in deciline for the most part with no prospects. This team should be around for years to come. I am anticipating a BIG offseason coming up for our team. I expect a couple of upgrades on offense and i also wouldn't be surprised if we see a huge trade on draft day. With all that said next year the pressure and expectations will rise. Congrats to the devils and hope the Kings destroy them which they should. LGR!!

Great season guys, real great! Extreamly frustrating at times, but still really fun.
I predicted 2nd round exit, so I am happy.

Disapointed in a few players though, and it will be really interesting to see what will happen in the off season.

Now, Ill get back to a normal sleep rythem!

LGR!
