As soon as Henrique scored I jumped up and did a huge celly and then me and my dad did a big bear hug. I love this ****ing team so much no matter what happens now I am so proud of this team.

I couldn't watch the game last night, wasn't on anywhere in Alaska, but my mom was updating me throughout the game. Very proud of this team! I'm rocking my Larsson t-shirt and a older man yelled "go devils" when I walked by #FeelsGoodman

Edit: cell phone service is really slow here and I couldn't listen to the radio broadcast

learned some interesting info last night regarding Mike Rupp. somebody I know who has known him a while asked him about hitting Marty in game 4 and said "I've been waiting a long time to do that" Turns out Rupp has always hated Marty based on the conversation he had with him.

LOL Mike Rupp

Rupp is so irrelevant...if he has a problem with marty...the only reason his "GOAL" was a GWG was because of marty posting a shutout in game 7.

oh and niedermayer did most of the work on the goal as well...so go cry in your pillow, you big oaf

so he can shove it...and take more boxing lessons.

i mean the guy is a joke....

My brother and I high fived and hugged repeatedly, screaming the whole time. My neighbours even called to make sure we were ok.

What a jackass. Marty is the only reason his career is at all relevant.

I was at work at a restaurant watching at the bar. I lost it in the middle of the dinning room and took a bottle of champagne from the bar and popped it open. Made it even sweeter that my boss is a huge ranger fan. As soon as I got home me and my dad just gave each other the biggest hug.

I think he will. LA's forecheck is very good, and Larsson is more likely to be able to stand up to that.

Because that hit single-handedly took away any momentum the Flyers had in a series-deciding game 7 as well as taking the fans out of the equation. Just part of the reason he won the Conn Smythe that year.

Rupp looked pretty remorseful/respectful in the handshake line, said a few words and gave him a couple pats on the shoulder.

That's what I observed too, and Marty graciously responded in kind.
