always had respect for Lundqvist, even though he has always played well against us. deserves more for how much he has carried that team over the years.

10 Devils have 3 or more goals in this postseason.

Lundqvist deserves exactly what he's earned.

Tell me how Brad Richards has had the career he has had. The only thing he does is throw the puck in front of the goal. For a so called playmaker he has the offensive instincts of a 4th line grinder. Just throw it in front and hope.

Honestly, at this point it feels like pizzing on someone's grave, but honestly Lundqvist is what, about 30 years old now and he hasnt accomplished much in the NHL despite all the accolades he gets from the media.

His lifetime Stanley Cup Playoffs record is now 25 -30. That's friggin' AWFUL.

He was awesome in Games 1, 2, and 3 of this series, but as the stakes got higher, he melted.

He was AVERAGE (at best) in Game 4, and he was TERRIBLE in Game 5 (In fact, lets take the red and black glasses off....... if not for Lundqvist, the Rangers WIN Game 5).

Compare that to Brodeur. The Rangers fans can mock him all they want for being 40 years old, blah, blah, blah, but as the stakes got higher, guess what? Marty got better. He turned away 33 or 35 tonight in a KEY elimination game, and about 3 or 4 of those were STONE COLD ROBBERIES of Rangers players. Marty stole this game, and with it, a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals.

So let Rangers fans call Marty "Fatso" all they like, because "Fatso" at 40 years old just accomplished more than their "King" has accomplished (in his supposed prime) in his entire career.

Yeah, what did "King Lundqvist" do tonight? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

I thought it would be a bad omen when I entered the arena and spotted someone wearing a...Tallackson jersey.

Thankfully, someone up there is forgiving.

Reading the quotes from TG's interviews of the players after the win has me very optimistic for the Final. They all sound pumped and confident.

Can't thank the Devils enough for knocking off the Rangers, it was a thing of beauty watching that game.

That first Devils goal was incredible, the player and fans just EXPLODED with happiness.

Congrats and good luck in the finals

Literally just settling in right now so just going to shoot everything out at once.
The Rock was amazing tonight, we blew the damn roof off the place.
The Henry chants were loud and sweet.
Never hugged more strangers in my life when Adam touched that goal home.
Missed about half the handshake line celebrating.
Tort's not being on the line is kind of annoying, icing on the cake I guess. His presser was a laugher too.
Can't really see it in the replay but Moose and Marty had an awesome jumping up and down hug celebration. Also when Zach motioned the team over to take a picture with The Prince, Kovy was first one over and gave him the biggest bear hug ever, clearly they hate each other and Zach wants to leave tomorrow.
Some guy literally ripped his seat out, I have no idea why, it was funny but not proud of that behavior.
Give Steve Summers on WFAN credit for eating a **** ton of crow tonight on the drive home. He definitely took his medicine like a man, and bashed Gaborik into the damn ground.
Since I was at the game missed most of the post-game, watched some of the late night repeat. You could just tell Al was gritting his teeth, he wanted his 94 repeat SO BAD. Love how much Dano was enjoying it though. Melrose was of course an ass on ESPN. Burnside only wrote a Rangers obit, I think he is in shock over the whole thing. Any good tidbits from NBC's post game?
It makes me feel wonderful that 94 is now dead, and Adam's goal will now haunt Henry and Ranger fans for a long LONG time. Tasty tasty tears.
This is the most awesomest feeling in the damn WORLD, and that was the best moment ever at The Rock.

Ok must attempt to sleep so I can wake up and buy FINALS TICKETS (can't believe I get to say that) on presale in the morning and then go drive around Paramus to find my girlfriend a Baby Gio shirt.

Slept for 5 and a half hours and I'm back to watching the ending to the game. This is still so surreal.

Take it all in, this one just killed any resentment of what was left long ago. We finally beat the Rangers in a big series and one hell of a win for Marty.
