He is represented by Craig Oster in NA and Erik Ryman in Europe and yes Ryman is KHL licensed.

That's sad. I was a big fan of Mats. Wish he stayed in the NHL even if it wasn't with the Rangers. Really humble guy and a solid player.

A norwegian newspaper says that another KHL club Atlant has been in touch with Ryman...that means he has KHL licence and should know whats going on..

Dumb but not unsurprising as it was rumored for some time that he would bolt to the KHL. I think another NHL team would have taken a chance on him and he may even had a spot on the Rangers next year depending on what happened in the offseason.

If we gained Norwegian fans in the process, that's always good. However, to the poster who said that he almost wished that the Rangers would lose last night because Zuccarello wasn't playing, you got your wish. Now please don't "root" for the Rangers ever again.

Ryman has a KHL license, he negotiated the deal between Lars Haugen and Dinamo Minsk.

The Daily News blog has been pulled down. Good chance we are being played with and the news is not real. This is how WWII started (via the internet)

I can't imagine anyone wanting to play in the KHL. Especially after the tragic plane crash. If he wants to go over there, good luck with that. I hope he stays here since it looked like he was finally getting it.

I would 100% re-sign him to a one-way deal if the price was right

Always some trolls on these forums. Dnt care about em

Btw I think its a good move by Zuke. He needs that bigger ice to be at his best. So he will earn alot of money, play with the big club and he can now play on that big european ice.

And the rangers wont miss him. U guys almost reached the stanley cup final and Zuke wasnt involved in that. So u got good enough players

Edit: Still a rumor? Im getting confused haha

So, according to Zuccarello AND his agent, nothing is decided yet... now Slater, make your move...

I mean, we've had a top prospect die and then the tragic plane crash that killed a few of our alums. **** the KHL.

Like in the AHL ? I don't think KHL is as bad as some people might think. The life of an AHL player isn't exactly glamorous either. Anyhow, looks like it's not going to happen.

If i was to be in an accident id rather be in one on solid ground, not 30,000 ft up in the sky
