This is going OT very fast, but statistically it's safer to travel by planes than by bus/car... just sayin'

He made a complete denial that he signed anywhere. He said several teams contacted his agent. That offers were made but he has not signed. He already told fans 15 minutes ago he hopes to be see them in NY

Be smart Zucc, stay in NY.

And those who are hoping he leaves, why? He would be great for a third line position. Could helped our PP and in the Regular season would be great in shootouts. His size didn't seem to affect him when he was playing in march. Is there any other legitimate complaint??

For the first time it sounds like in the current hours he is seriously close to leave.

And trust me, i really hope that he stays and is given a chance by a NHL team to furtherly prove he belongs.

I think Torts gave Zuccarello ample chance to stick in the lineup. Maybe he's an NHLer, maybe not, but he didn't play the way he needed to stick in THIS lineup.

Not in Zucc's case, he would have made tons more anywhere else, but has kept to his contract with the Rangers, and worked hard.. he has stated many times that "money doesnt matter", the NHL is where he wants to be.

But by and large, yes.. money "rules".. sadly.

This attitude should tell any GM that this guy plays with his heart and not his salary. Isnt that in any teams interest, the guy proved in his last games he`s an NHLer?

He was truthful. He said :

1. He has not signed anything. And,
2. He does not know where he'll be playing next year.

He obviously cannot know where he will be playing next year if he has not signed a contract, my understanding is that for example the Rangers wont even start thinking about contracts, etc until the season is over (which it is now, but just yesterday).

strongly disagree. he outplayed multiple guys who got a position over him in every area on the ice. certainly out-hustled a lot of guys.

It's the same way Jarkko Immonen, PAP, etc. never got a fair shake of it.

Zuccarello played 42 games for the Rangers in 2010-11 lol, how is that not an extensive look/chance to stick in an NHL lineup? I realize a lot of games he didn't get a ton of ice time, but not for nothing a lot of those games he didn't do much to deserve more shifts.

Some guys would dream to play the number of games he played this season, 10, to get a chance to prove themselves.

Torts has made it clear all along. If you play the way you're supposed to away from the puck and leave it all on the ice, you will get plenty of ice time. It's pretty simple. It's why Carl Hagelin never returned to Hartford this year.

No point to argue when you have 100% right.

Far too many mistakes/turnovers, not enough times he went into battles in corners and came away with the puck.

Would like to see MZA stay with the Rangers and play on a line where he can produce. If not, I'd rather see him play for another NHL team instead of going to the KHL or somewhere else in Europe.

Are we completely disregarding the fact that barring his injury, Tortorella said he would've been in the playoff lineup?
