It's more than just Brooks

There are more than enough shots taken at the league (some of it is stuff that we've said before). And some are just questions that we (the fans) have asked and Bettman has failed to answer. For example:

"The NHL is seeking an NFL-style collective bargaining agreement without NFL-style revenue sharing. If the NHL wants to convince anyone first the players, and secondly the fans that its intention in a salary cap system is anything other than enriching its rich markets while propping up the poor on the backs of player salary reductions, it needs to be much more transparent about what it has in mind. "

There are others, but what Brooks is saying is nothing that has not been said. That Bettman is trying to drive a wedge between the higher and lower paid players.
