Prudential Center playing the NFL on FOX theme? Not sure why, but I do know that it gets me even more pumped for football than I already was.

I heard that, and shot my dad a questioning look when he walked in the room. He didn't hear it, though.

This commercial (the Perry/Lidstrom hat trick commercial) is just going to make me sad from now on.

After watching him for 3 series and a game, I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed by the offensive ability that Willie Mitchell has shown. I always have thought of him as a good stay-at-home guy, because, well, that's what he's always looked like to me. But I have to say I've been much more impressed with the offensive jump he's shown than his stay-at-home presence. Good to see...

Parise trying to cheat and use his glove there...doesn't he know that cheaters never win? (Unless they're Hull, to Buffalo fans' disgust)

So Rex Ryan was wearing a Flyers jersey to the Canes game a few years back...but now he's at the Devils game? Hmm...

That Canes/Wings series was the true David v Goliath. I think our payroll was half of theirs and that team was just ridiculously stacked. The looks on the Red Wings fans' faces after that Francis goal still brings a smile to my face. I remember John Saunders saying we'd get swept and he was like well after that game. That and my Mom yelling to both Saunders and Melrose that they suck right when they went on the air for Game 3. Oh the memories.

Sing it with me "Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty"

Sick move by Kopitar.

Doc sounds depressed now.

Best question from the postgame presser:

"Anze, what made you go backhand on Marty?"
"Um...I went forehand"

Jersey seemed to be dominating the 4th period, until Williams sprang Kopitar. Good guys win!

Devils laid down on that goal.

Love the instant penalty call afterwards.

My girlfriend is pulling for the devils and I just bought a kings jersey. I'm in the doghouse now.

Ask your girlfriend why she's crazy...it's a serious question, but you'll probably be sleeping outside once you ask it.
