C'mon Marty, you know that was goalie interference.

Now instead of this going down as the Kings dominating the playoffs, it will be the wonderful ref-rigged the game conspiracy.

Yeah, but there was no way that the boarding call on Stoll would have been a major. A minor at the most, IMO.

Meh, I'd say it was the right call... Plus, all the refs can do is give them a major. Kudos to the Kings for waking up their abysmal powerplay and scoring 3 in 5...

The refs didn't cause New Jersey's defense to shove their heads up their collective *****.

I agree there was no other call than a major, but judging by the SCF main thread, it has already started. People find some need to belittle a team winning the championship, but I guess it is just the vogue thing to do.

They have gotten the benefit of some really, really questionable calls/non-calls. All throughout the playoffs.

Yes, Bernier's penalty was a major. But Stoll's hit was a penalty. So was Penner's forearm shiver at the end of the play. Still, that's when your PK has to get the job done.

This league's officiating makes the NBA and NFL's look like a model of competency. Just embarrassing officiating all playoffs long. Truly bush league stuff.

I think this has always been the case. It's always the losing team loses because they played terribly, rather than the opposing team winning because they played better. Fanbases, especially around here, will never give opposing teams credit.

Have you watched the NBA playoffs? That officiating has been a joke too, so I don't know where you're coming from.

Pierre complained about the non-call on Stoll too. Maybe he also has some sort of "hidden" agenda.

THAT was funny. I suppose the refs really don't want to have to travel back to Jersey.
