Dubeau is an 18 year old goaltender who like many needed alot of games early to get going. Since October 10th, he's had a .912% and is doing much better while winning us games. Barbashev is a 16 year old who has 8 points in his first 14 games while adjusting to North American hockey and has lots of time left in this league He'll be lighting it up in this league longer than Bathurst have a team to cheer for
In the Q Barbeshev is a 17 YO.
From season start, Brennan had a better % than Dubeau and you said it was a question mark on the Titan....even called it a weakness.
Dubeau has been anything but good....never mind excellent since season start.
PS: arbeshev was supposed, according to you, to be a high end Euro while the Titan two Euros were supposed to be midgets compared to him.
Comparing our two Euros to Barbeshev, they exactly have the same numbers.....all 3 of them being same age group.
What is really funny is reading that kind of crap coming from a Moncton fan.
Dubeau was supposed to be a worthy future in a trade if required, as so was Melindy.
Both have sucked since the start of season.
Barbeshev was supposed to be a 80 points player....etc,etc....
Rather than trying to downgrade the Titan, you should give readers the exact time on your beloved team.
Lalancette was supposed to be an 80 point player too and (I'm aware of his injury) he stumbled out of the gate. Season is not made in November.
And you try to downgrade every other team (especially their pick/spec pools) every day, so enough of that.

Another big win for Moncton tonight against BLB. So that would be 4 wins in our last 5 games. We beat Gatineau last night 5-2 , the same team you lost 4-3 against tonight. Dubeau... 3rd star Barbashev.... game winning goal and 1st star And who was the other star ?? Jaskin

I don't think there was ever a debate to whether Jaskin was going to be good. He's the best euro in the league after Grigs imo because of the intangibles he brings and he's obviously going to tear up offensively... I got a limited viewing of his play tonight and I was very impressed with his offensive display... Looks like he can take the game...
I don't think chsb ever thought he wouldn't do good, unless you don't know what kind of player he is
Moncton's play is no surprise the last few games. It just has to be consistent (easy eh?)
Bathurst (chsb) will soon realize that it's time to sell, no way they will make it past round 2 this season.
My concern is Jaskin doesn't seem to utilize his linemates much he is great at puck protection and has good strength but doesn't seem to pass when the opportunity is there.
I'm a Blues fan and I can admit that Jaskin is benefiting from being bigger/older. I don't think his game will translate...It didn't work over in Europe. Regardless, Moncton is a better team with him.

I think you are throwing in the towel way too soon. The player I saw last night is a NHL player and a potentially solid one at that.

He went from playing pro to playing juniors... It's a step down, so of course he'll dominate.
Wildcats are finally starting to click. They're currently on a three game winning streak and have won seven of their last ten games. They host the struggling Titan tomorrow , hopefully they can make the streak 4 games !

Big game tomorrow... Two struggling teams, time to show who's for real... One game doesn't make everything, but it's important.
I think it's a more important game for the Titan. Moncton has already beat them in their only meeting this season. But important for Moncton too, none the less.

In spite of your claim, I still consider Moncton as a struggling team and there is no superiority complex to split 2 games against the Titan by scores of 4-3 and 2-3.
The Wildcats I noticed have problems finishing their plays....lack of scoring touch...they outshoot opponents but then get beaten.
From what I saw so far, Brennan performed better than Dubeau in the faceoffs.
I will say that Bathurst, in psite of not playing to their capacity and far from it, are splitting the two faceoffs.
It will get interesting once both teams are fine tuned.
For now it is what it is...two teams struggling.
