I don't see a situation where Toronto passes on Galchenyuk if he is still available.

I can't see the Leafs picking a small, thin, Finnish winger over Galchenyuk no matter how talented Teuvo is.

fair enough , i understand ... i just went with Teuvo Teravainen over Alex Galchenyuk in that spot due to injury concerns and the fact that Gally is technically yet another American player who Toronto seems to be loaded with ... at least according to Don Cherry ...

You have Dallas picking 9 and they should be 13.

While that is true that Cherry complained about it, he isn't the GM and Burke loves American players and everybody loves two-way players with compete levels like Galy. i'm getting more worried day by day that He will be picked 3rd by Montreal.

You're forgetting Sebastien Collberg...probably going to be a top 15 pick.

Maatta over Trouba and Reilly? Don't see that happening. Can we please stop having us taking a goalie at 19, we can get one in 2nd.

Off the top of my head, Collberg is missing, unless you intended for him to drop out of the 1st round.

I can get behind the Hertl pick for the Sharks.

And you know DuckJet is going to be happy with this...

Rangers have already talked to Frk, I believe. I doubt they would pass on him if available.

The pens are pretty loaded with D prospects and while I agree Lindholm could be the BPA there I feel Aberg or Kerdiles or maybe even Frk could be better picks there.

Another one feeding Grigorenko to the Habs. He is a high risk high reward type of player. Year no.1 of Bergevin, he will not gamble on a player, and Timmins is not known for gambling either.

Im sure the habs will take Galchenyuk over Grigorenko in a heart beat. Dumba, Murray, Forsberg will probably be better pick than Grigorenko. Id even take Teravainen before him.

I love how I'm well known for that.

I think if we make individual threads for every draft pick made I'll post something like, "what a stupid pick! THE GUY MISSED A WHOLE YEAR OF DEVELOPMENT" just to throw people off.

Looks nice! However, I think the Leafs would be sorely missing out if they passed on Galch... yes, had injury, but he could be the most talented in this draft. Many top scouts thought he was. Yes, a bit of a gamble, but if it pays off... otherwise, well done

Grigorenko to Montreal? Probably not. Montreal will probably take Galchenyuk over Grigorenko, and probably even Forsberg over him. But I'd still be happy with either of the three.

I don't see the Habs taking Grigs. Probably Galchenyuk, with Grigorenko falling to TOR. They're not going to pass him for Terravainen.
I won't speak to other teams' needs since I don't really know them, but the Sabres have more defensemen than we know what to do with already + NHL ready prospects + Pysyk and Gauthier-Leduc -- they would trade down before drafting a defender. Faksa or Girgensons are the most likely picks, or Gaunce if both are gone already.

Neither do I. I had him going around the 4th round. Must be some attitude issues
