He's a known gm killer. Forget about him. He's all about himself. There's a reason why he didn't get many interviews in the NHL after the Buffalo debacle.

Based solely on their TV and RADIO performances!

1 - Therrien on l'Antichambre: when all the baffoons are rambling on, Michel Therrien is always the voice of reason. I don't think I heard him spew garbage once.

2 - Roy on Sportscenter: I love his press conferences and ramblings about the refs, the other teams, the league. Not sure how well that would work in Montreal but he'd make things interesting

3 - Hartley on sports radio : very funny and opiniated. I didn't agree with him too often and I'm sure he'd be completely different as the head coach, but his franco-ontarien humour was entertaining in the morning.

4 - Crawford on TSN : quite boring to listen to. He just doesn't strike me as THE candidate.

5 - Carbonneau on l'Antichambre : my God is this guy boring. How can he motivate his players? He also seems to hold grudges. Maybe he learned from his mistakes.

Not for nothing, but what roman numeral is VIV? Change title to IX please. I'm a teacher and I'm old so yes, these tiny things gnaw at me.

Entertaining and a good head coach are not necessarily synonims. Bowman, Babcock and Lemaire will put you to sleep in a press conference but I'd take them ahead of guys like Tortorella.

Do I ever agree with you! Sure it's fun to here and this but it doesn't win you games.
On the other hand, Jacques Martin did put us to sleep and he never won anything. Torterella won a cup and there's no way you sleep trough his interviews...still don't like him.

You guys are all so ignorant. It's not a roman numeral, it's obviously a cry for help to cricket's great Viv Richards. Richards for coach!

I don't find Bowman, Babcock and Lemaire boring at all - just brutally honest for the most part.

Michel Therrien is not "entertaining", but still came off as very knowledgeable on l'Antichambre.

As hockey fans, we don't get to sit and chat with these people very often but we can form an opinion of them listening to their thoughts and interaction on TV and radio.

For Marc Bergevin, this is totally irrelavent, as it should be.

Well i agree with most of your raisonning, but Therrien just gets to me when he says, " What i would do is" on L'Anti-Chambre every time someone is discussing a player performance or situation. Why is he on TV instead of coaching somewhere if he's that good at coaching, there must be a reason

Yea I know. Why has Hartley been out of the NHL for so long too? Carbo? Same thing. Makes you wonder. Still, it seems the front runners are Hartley, Therrien, Crawford and Roy. Question marks on all of them.

The French media & Don Cherry. Remember his rant about Burke and yanks on the Leafs? How often have those two agreed on anything?

Unfortunately, I feel this is going to be the case.

''Comment peut-on engager un autre dépisteur pour les États-Unis quand on repêche déjà trop de joueurs de là. Ben voyons donc! On ignore le produit Québécois encore une fois!!!''

some info on him:

Quote:
Kinsella has seen more than a half-dozen of his players drafted into the NHL, including two first-round picks in Sam Gagner with the Edmonton Oilers and Max Pacioretty of the Montreal Canadiens, both of whom played for the Sioux City Musketeers. Kinsella has also had more than 60 players receive Div. 1 hockey scholarships.
