I don't think either Goncharov or Tikhonov have futures in Phoenix, anyhow. I'd add either or both.

EDIT: oops! Didn't realize Chipchura was RFA. I thought he was UFA. We can include him, too.

For Brown and Lombardi, you can have them. We've got a lot of other youngsters that need call ups and such. It'd be good housekeeping, while shoring up key areas of need.

I love Brown.... if we could get Brown and Bisonnette on our 4th line, we'd be amazingly solid down there, throw in Zigomanis between them. wow.

Yup, Brown isn't a player we should part with lightly, only if he was a deal breaker on a significant trade.

Zigs is an AHLer for a reason. Not because we are mean to him or because we have too much depth. Seriously I would rather you fantasized about NHLers but Steckel is just fine in my books (unless you consider him our number 3 center which isn't that great).

I like the idea of having the Ross brothers united, I however have no idea who he is lol, Id love to see Biznasty on this team, but I, like many others don't wanna see Brown go. He's just a warrior and fan favourite. I also don't think Phoenix does this deal, Lombardi is a far cry of what he used to be, he still has the speed to be effective in the NHL just not the puck strength......Phoenix doesn't do this deal overall, Rynaas just hasn't shown anything to look forward to.

I love this idea, that would be a mean veteran line.

Phoenix get Lombardi, a player who was good in Phoenix, and hope he can rebound so that could be a middle-reward acquisition. Mike Brown, a solid 4th liner, warrior who forecheck, block shots, and good on the PK. Josh Nicholls, a decent prospect who was pretty good in the WHL. Jussi Rynnas, a goalie with good potential who needs a change of scenary.

Toronto get ride of Lombardi contract. Chipchura, a young defensive center with leadership qualities. Bissonnette, a 4th line fighter. Viktor Tikhonov, a wigner with potential who needs a change of scenary. Nick Ross, former 1st round pick who needs a change of scenary, also Brad Ross brother.
That's like trading Rita McNiell for Rosie O'donnell. These are all often injured or marginal players at best.

Lombardi has at least SOME bounce back potential. That potential only becomes much greater in Phoenix where he can jump out of the pressure cooker that is Toronto nd back into the site of his last great individual success.

Pretty much every Coyotes fans on this thread would do this deal.

Brown and Lombardi to Phoenix just needs to happen. Ideal on many levels.

Considering Nicholls isn't Leaf property anymore, For me anyway you can keep Bissonette and make it a 3 for 3.

The Coyotes seems to do the deal without Nicholls and Rynnas, they just want Lombardi and Brown.

No thanks. Lombo is too much of a liability. I'd much rather we went for someone that isn't a huge question mark with expectations of playing in our top six.
