The only tough part for the blue jays for this series is the Hamels vs Morrow game.

Ricky should at least give us at least 6ip even if he continues to struggle, where oliver, perez, Jansen can finish it.

Morrow needs a solid outing atleast 7ip. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I kind of expect a complete game everytime he takes the mound.

They can lose the next two games, then win their next two series (TB and BOS) and then they can collapse

Jeez. Maybe I'll watch less games as I couldn't watch tonight and they looked to have a gem. Nice start for Hutch. Cordero back to his old ways.

Trumbo walks it off after NY came back late in the game. Awesome.

Tonight is the night Romero turns it around. He's going to make a statement.

I thought it was established that Casey is the closer, no? Coco Puff deserves to be booted. Coco just can't throw strikes and looks nervous out there. And why is he fat? Stay in shape, my friend.

CC Sabathia, Prince Fielder, Johnathan Broxton, Pablo Sandoval, Bartolo Colon.

And yes, Janssen is still the closer. Coco came in during a non-save situation.

LOL!! @ at the pic.

that's how everyone knows the NL is a complete joke. 37+ saves in that league. he comes to the AL and can barely get ONE out, let alone three.

oh my god...had no idea he had that many saves...
also, NL is not a complete joke; AL is just x10000 better

A lot of those saves come with the Reds. It's not like they were pressure packed situations with a division lead on the line.

Tonight's Lineup:

Johnson
Escobar
Bautista
Edwin (DH)
Rasmus
Arencibia
Lawrie
Cooper
Davis

Would have liked to see another look at Rasmus in the 2 hole with his recent success. Would take some pressure off Escobar considering he's still a little banged up.

Janssen IS the closer. A 6 run lead doesn't need a closer as its not a close situation.

I would have too. I like him there.

But I guess the thinking is since Esco had been doing well in the 2 hole, why move him? Same can be said for Rasmus though.

yeah, but still. you would think someone who had 37+ saves just last year would be able to close out a few games 1-2-3.

Hopefully the new found hitting prowess of Rasmus can survive the drop in the lineup. and please Romero, don't make 22 y/o Hutchison our ace, we all know you have it in you. Command that FB early and often, make 'em swing.

How can Bautista look at that. Exact same pitch he threw to start him out. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...
