Favorite Player of 2011-2012 Season?

Who was the player that really stood out during the past season for the Panthers?

My choice is Marcel Goc... I think he was just a great addition for the Panthers, he proved to be a great 2nd or 3rd line player that was pretty good throughout the whole season, he might have declined in the second half, but I think he will improve even more next season, he still has time to develop with the Panthers and I hope to see him next year.

<--- That guy, so solid, love his play.

Goc indeed did very good and also Bergy deserves some credit, even though had a few slumps.

By far Cambpell.. the one player that we could not survive without. The Quarterback.

Worth every penny. finally WE stole someone in a deal. Look at Chicago without him.

I'm gonna go with my boy Bergenheim here. Maybe he wasn't the best player this season, but he certainly scored some big goals at key times. He was clutch when we needed him the most!

There are a few good choices here, but I without a doubt go with Brian Campbell. This guy is massively valuable to our team, and we would have never made it without him, or Theodore for that matter.

I agree that Campbell was our best and most effective player. Worth every penny of his contract.

But my favorite player this season has to be Gudbranson. Watching him grow from a tentative rookie in October to a smart, physical and aggressive player in May was a treat. I really hope he doesn't suffer any sophomore slump and continues his maturation next year.

Definitely Brian Campbell, and not just for his offensive production either. AINEC.

Every time he had the puck in our zone, I felt relaxed. Sometimes guys like Jovo, Gudbransson, Ellerby, et al would give me heart attacks when they had the puck on their sticks trying to get the play out of our zone but when Campbell had possession it was another story. His skating ability combined with his sublime puckhandling always allowed me to breath absolutely easy when moving the puck up ice. He was able to slow down the game and play keep-away with forecheckers until the puck was able to get to safety and through the neutral zone. One of the most beautiful and underrated things I've ever seen on the ice, and so consistent about it.

He might not be the biggest or most physical defenseman, but I would take almost no-one else on the back end to get the puck out of danger.

ill admit my man crush for erik gudbranson. This boy turned into a man as the season progressed. This kid should be in a panther uniform for a very long time and down the road that uniform will be adorned with a C on the chest!

For me at first it was Versteeg cause he was scoring like crazy and i liked his grit. There were other times when it was Skille cause I love how hard he works. In the playoffs it was Gudbranson cause I love his nastiness and I think it will be him going forward. But for the season as a whole, I gotta go with Bergenheim. He works so hard on every shift and there are guys out there who have way more skill but accomplish way less because they dont want it as bad. I really appreciate that burning will to win. If we had a team full of guys who want to win that bad we would be unstoppable. So Bergy is my favorite Panther. But probably the MVP is Soupy. Hes just so valuable in all aspects of the game. He made this team work more than anyone else imo.

I'd say it's a tie between Bergy, Versteeg, & Campbell for me.
