Hertl's gonna be a winger. And he's fairly physical, but not nearly as much as Samuelsson.

Button's/Pierre's mock draft made no sense at times.

Grigs at 17?

LA, Bos, Van taking a goalie?

I agree. Button is really out there in the way he describes things sometimes. I think he's one of those guys who tries to sound profound when he should just be direct and make his point. He's painful to listen to on NHL Tonight at times. Even though other times his game analysis and points aren't bad IMO.

I think he gets caught up in the hoopla and tries to make himself sound exciting... or something. Whatever it is it doesn't work.

I think he thinks, that he's the best scout out there. Which is not the case at all.

Button has given me some of the most head shaking moments before when listening to him.

There's a rumor out thre that he's over aged and his papers are out of order. Who knows what the truth is?

I think if scouts felt Collberg was coming to the CHL, he'd go MUCH earlier than when the Penguins pick. His hands and offensive brain are much much better than most in this draft.

That said, I do not know the answer to your question about who holds his rights. It's probably a moot point, though.

Nobody holds them yet. He wasn't picked last year and the 2012 import draft is a week after the NHL draft. He'll probably stay in Sweden anyway, they have one of the few really good junior leagues in Europe (J20 SuperElit).

I'll tell you who's worse... the guy who is sharing the desk with him right now (this week). Never seen the guy before, forget his name but he is ****ing terrible. If I heard right I think he's a current or former minor league coach. Talk about a guy with nothing to say who says it in the most dramatic fashion possible. I don't know where the NHL finds some of these clowns but bring back Chaser. He's a bit of a knucklehead sometimes but he's at least interesting to watch/listen to most of the time.

Button always reminds me of a guy who knows what he's talking about, but simply has no clue how to explain it or express it to other people. I think he's knowledgeable as a scout, but he's just piss-poor in explaining a player's strengths and weaknesses to the audience.

If Grigorenko (Or is is Galchenyuk?) falls to our position, I think we should take him. Not that I reckon he will.

It's Grigorenko. It would be a no-brainer to pick him, but it's not happening.

This draft is fairly void of high-end offensive talent, I don't think Grigorenko will fall as much as some are predicting. He's still going Top10 IMO.

At the latest, he'll go whenever Washington is drafting. So somewhere around 11th, I believe (the pick they got from Colorado). That's one team that never shies away from drafting high risk Russians.

I agree. It's interesting to hear a draft opinion that goes against the grain, but Button doesn't do a good enough job explaining his position.

One example would be his ranking of Grigorenko. Everybody knows about the heart/work ethic problems, but the way that Button continually refers to Grigorenko as a "two-way center" and compares him to Jordan Staal leads me to believe that he doesn't think Grigorenko's offensive upside is as high as it's cracked up to be. Unfortunately, he has never thoroughly explained what flaws have suddenly popped up in Grigorenko's offensive game.

I'm down to Skjei, Gaunce, and Wilson for the Pens pick. Either of those three would be nice.
