I don't get the Holloway/Schilling fight being on a main card. We just saw a PPV which had multiple prelim fights that would've served better on TV than this one. Very short-sighted thinking by the UFC to not balance these out a bit better. Texeira/Kingsbury, Brown/Pineda, or Sass/Volkman would all of made better picks.

Aside from that, I kind of like the card. Very TUF-heavy but it will be fun.

Jake Ellenberger vs. Martin Kampmann - Kampmann has trouble holding up against heavy hitters, and few hit harder than Ellenberger. I think Ellenberger can finish it early, I'll call 1st round TKO.

I agree about the schilling fight, even the 2 upcoming June cards have a few better fights on the under card.

UFC fx3:
Leonard Garcia vs. Matt Grice
Mike Pierce vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha

UFC fx4:
Hatsu Hioki vs. Ricardo Lamas
Papy Abedi vs. Rick Story

The card should still be entertaining, luckily. I'm pretty interested in seeing how the Brookins/oliveira scrap goes down, could be FOTN.

The main event is tough for me also, Martin has troubles with power & Jake has a lot. Kampmann does have great cardio though, he needs to survive rds 1&2 & hope Ellenberger starts to fade in rd 3 like he did in the Sanchez fight.

Kampmann is the better fighter. More technical striker and I believe he will submit Ellenberger.

Ellenburger won't be beaten by anybody in the division for a very long time IMO. He really does have that perfect wrestling/boxing mix and is GSP's biggest threat in the division.

I agree, but it is worth watching his cardio going forward. He already slows down after 10 minutes and if he gets into some 15,20, or 25 minute title fights he could be in trouble. I'll still pick him over pretty much everyone in the division right now but he does have a very glaring weakness.

Yeah he slowed down quite a bit in the 3rd round of the Sanchez fight.

He also blew the doors off Carlos Condit for a round before slowing down and giving that fight away. Albeit, there's no shame in losing to Condit. He also had a tough time with Carlos Rocha, barely winning that one.

Don't get me wrong I love Ellenberger and expect him to blast Kampmann tomorrow, but if this fight makes it into the 3rd round look out because Kampmann has the tools to take it off.

So is this card not live in Canada because its TUF related? I can find the prelims live, but the actual show isn't on until later tomorrow night.

Ugh. Does anybody know what percent of people actually get FX Canada?

Good season-ending failure by the UFC in Canada after a failure of a "live" season for most of us up north.

You have to wonder if Ellenberger couldnt improve his cardio by dropping a little of that muscle. The dude is a **** house.

He could be even scarier with the right nutritionist. He' probably be able to maintain most his power & improve his endurance.
