Not nervous, mostly a fear of the unknown. Like the first time I ate alligator.

Miss New Jersey vs Miss California

Itís funny because Miss California lives in the OC and so sheís probably a Ducks fan. Miss New Jersey, on the other hand, isnít from south Jersey and so sheís probably a Rangers fan.

But itís most probable than neither of them give a **** about hockey. haha

I love how Bondy mentions the "first, deceiving game", but declines to mention that he was one of the people deceived.

Deceivin', I says!

I will say the thing I like most right now is the guys already have it in their heads to shoot high because of Hank last round, and Quick gets super super low in traffic to see the puck so they don't have to adapt where to shoot much at all.
patty's due for a big series. I expect him to play well. Would love to see Quick give one up early and see how he handles the pressure. The Kings have been playing from in front all spring.

Pretty surreal. I don't think it really clicked in for me til yesterday's media day and listening to the Devils. It's going to be a long day.

Doubt either of the chicas can name 2 players on their team.

That makes no sense. Were she from South Jersey, she'd likely be a Flyers fan. Being from North or Central Jersey, she's more likely to be a Devils fan. Though their conclusion of "neither" is most likely correct.

On the morning of the start of the Flyers series I was at Shaws (Vermont's version of ShopRite) with my Brodeur jersey on and a guy came up to me and said "Devils fan, huh?" (what gave it away?) "I give your team credit for making it this far, but there's no way you're going ALL the way, Marty's too old and he doesn't have it in him".

I've thought of that guy with every win and every step we've taken closer to the cup. I've made a point of stopping at that store when I didn't really need to, trolling the aisles in my Kovy jersey, hoping to run into him again so I can ask him what he thinks now. Last weekend I brought the wife and kids and asked them to wear THEIR jerseys grocery shopping...there are six of us. Still no sign of the ba$t@r!. It's become an obsession...in fact, I'm considering taking out a full page ad in my local newspaper in the next few days. Donations?

WE WANT THE CUP!

We definitely need Patty producing. This is the big stage, and he's a clutch player.

Dunno whats up with Elias. Just put him on line 3 and anything he can contribute will be gravy. I've been waiting for a surge for 2 rounds now.

Unless he's injured, this is just a slump that will pass. Patty will step up.
