Linky

Good for EA, good for the NFL, bad for fans and gamers.

Discuss.

But no competition means less push on EA to make better games.

meh, I have really been playing Madden games since 97. The games haven't changed a whole lot over the years and I am happy with them.

I don't understand how it's good for you, maybe it doesn't hurt you, but how does it help you?

they will never up the price

they never dropped the price to compete with 19.99 ESPN Games. And they never upped the price when they were the only one on the market.

people seem to look at this the same way they look at the NHL CBA. They wont stop improving the game, and they wont up the price. They will continue along the path they have. Putting out the best NFL Football game every season.

you will NEVER see a regular Game market for higher than 49.99. Your actually suggesting they will up the price to 1/2 of the cost of the system that plays the game?

Ahain, I can see how, if you don't care if the game doesn't change at all, how it doesn't hurt you. But how the heck does it help you? That's what I said, quite clearly I might add.

Alot of people have been talking about a price up on gamefaqs.com so take it for what it's worth.

Fifa is exclusive, and it's price is higher. Why should Madden be different?

Yes, the price of video games in general will become steeper, much sooner than you think.

And ESPN series is a great alternative to the Madden series.

Let me look into my crystal ball. I see headaches from this deal...it won't last 2 seasons...
