cant see puempel being traded, in my honest opinion there isnt a whole tone of elite finishers in the league better than puempel. if the petes are going for it. he will be a part of it.

There is a rumor from Fronts Talk that Kingston is trading a vet d-man for picks(which will be used to get a goalie).

Have you heard what teams may be interested?

Looks like it might be Gudbranson. How exspensive would someone think he would be?

To Peterborough:
Gudbranson(D,94) Barenak(RW,93)

To Kingston:
Petes import pick(9), Cody Thompson(LW, 95)

Kingston could then use their pick and Peterborough's to get a goalie and D-Man to replace Alex.

I don't think that's enough to get Gudbranson.

Didn't think so either haha, well he won't be coming to Petes anyways from what it sounds like.

We have too many D as it is.

The problem with Gudbranson is his slow foot speed. not much offence to his game but he is a hard guy to play against. More of a bang and crash d-man. I cant see Gilmore trading him at all!

After his suspension he was Kingston's best shutdown d-man, I don't think he will be traded. The player that is supposedly getting traded want's to be, why would Gudbranson want to be traded if he is on the top-pairing, playing some pp and pk.

Not the best time to opt of Kingston then, as this is as bright as the future has looked in years.

his rookie year they were decent and last year they sucked, they have a young roster and if Bobkov was not there they would of been way worse then Erie

Gudbranson has not asked a trade, speculating he has is somewhat unfair to the player.

Why would he want to leave if they plan on being a contender they went and picked up 2 OA's to help them this season so the only way he gets traded in my mind is if they fall fast and at the dead line wants out much like Watson this year.

With Plymouth getting Corbin from Sudbury and with him leaning towards Signing instead of going NCAA i wonder what will happen to Ekblad. I remeber someone telling me that Windsor and Barrie had talks about getting him but that was before they got Corbin so maybe now they wont mind trading him soon.

I agree it doesn't make much sence! The rumour has it.. Puempel wants to play for Thowey again.. That's what people are saying anyways.... Don't think Peterborough and the Shwa could complete a deal though....

I wish Kingston would have offered a 4th round pick for this kid,I think he could be a decent goalie. Doesn't seem to be too big of a price for him,What is Sarnia doing?

Unless the Shwa has an equal big name forward who wants out and is willing to to go to Peterborough, won't happen. Also agree that Peterborough/Shwa deal not probable.
