so that 1.0.3 patch (which i hope comes very soon) is supposed to make Inferno (act2 onwards) easier right?
i sure hope so, because the game seems busted after Act1, as far as difficulty goes.
It'll be easier but the comments from Blizz devs made it sound like the changes were more to help out the melee classes. DHs/Wizards/WDs will still probably get one-shot if they don't have decent enough damage mitigation.
Drop caltrops, shoot balls, win game. More than relatively easy. Unless Soul Rippers show up. **** those things.
Soul Rippers and those Spear guys are so annoying. I don't know how a melee class is supposed to do Act 3+.
Another trick with DH is using the doors that transport you to the new area, like Keep 1 to Keep 2. If you go in the door and smokescreen right away, blast away, then run back in the door, you can even beat some of the really tough mobs like Invul Minions, Fast shielding, etc.
so i decided to try out the real money AH, and threw up a so-so belt for $5 just to see what happened.
when setting it up, it wouldn't allow me to use paypal (apparently because you have to set SMS up on your smart phone), so i just let it default to the blizzard dollars.
anyway, someone bought the belt for $5 and the thing has been processing since yesterday. so getting your money seems pretty slow and takes a while i guess.
anyway ...what i'm wondering is, do you need this SMS protect on a smart phone in order to use paypal on there? because no, i don't have a smart phone (just a regular old cell phone).
is there no way i could use paypal on there, unless i was to get a smart phone? ****ing annoying, if that's the case.
You just need the SMS Security to be "enabled" under Account Management. It should be right under the Authenticator section. I was receiving texts from Blizzard but still wasn't able to use Paypal in the RMAH until the SMS security was fully "enabled". There was some other box I had to click before it worked.
I was able to sell a pretty good pair of gloves for $80, good to know I at least broken even.
